SunTek 46" UV Protection Silver Coated Vented Canopy Umbrella with Auto Open Telescopic Fiberglass Shaft. Folding Portable Sun Tech

I bought it for Carribbean and Florida sun trip but ended up using it in one of those Florida hurricane band rainstorms. Was very pleasantly surprised at how well it held up with the wind. It did flip inside out once but given the wind it was fair, and aiming it back into the wind it popped back into place undamaged. Great not to have to take two items can use for rain or sun. It is a bit ugly wish they would make pretty print but it’s a good quality.

I walk long distances almost every day in the relentless heat and sun. Despite layers of 50 SPF sunscreen I could see quite a tan building and damage to my skin. I started carrying a regular umbrella which helped keep the sun off my face, but made me feel even hotter.Some Japanese friends came to visit and told me that in Japan there are umbrellas with a silver coating that keep the sun off and don't absorb the heat. I checked Amazon right away and found a large array of silver coated umbrellas. The first one I ordered was a golf umbrella and much too big to carry. Very disappointing, but I ordered this one next and it is almost exactly what I was hoping to get. Excellent quality, keeps the heat from building, and I feel much better when my walk is finished than I did before this umbrella. It isn't a miracle exactly, but it is a brilliant idea.The quality of this umbrella is excellent for the price. It's a little heavier than I would like, but everything else is perfect for me. One of my favorite Amazon purchases.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased during my cancer journey to keep the sun off my chemo skin and its worked like a charm! Strong wind doesn't cause it to flip up, and it's resistant to short bursts of rain. Great buy! Out of 3 purchases its the only one I've not returned.

I was happy with this purchase. It did feel cooler under the umbrella and has lasted me longer than other umbrellas purchased. However the silver is starting to wear off now.

We bought two of these sun protection umbrellas for going to my grandson’s baseball games, and then we bought two more. They’ve been invaluable! They protect you from harmful sun rays, you feel much cooler under them than under the sun’s heat, and you’re also able to see the games without the sun in your eyes. The whole family loves using them! They’re well made, and invaluable with how much more pleasant they’ve made watching the ball games in the sun.

I have used this umbrella for years now, probably about 5 years, on a daily basis. I am very sensitive to the sun, I use this rain or shine. It is now starting to wear through the fabric bit at the folding points, I will get a new one after this summer before the rain, but after 5 years or so I've gotten my money's worth out of it!

This umbrella works very well. My friend and I were standing in the direct sun, it was a very hot day and the umbrella kept us cooler than a regular umbrella. You didn’t feel intense heat.My friend and I were very pleased and happy to have these umbrellas

The sun blocking is amazing. It’s cool underneath it which is great but the handle is quit short. I use it at the baseball field. I’m doing to get the larger one which my friend d bought and it has a longer handle.
