For a dress up/costume this is a very nice dress although as others have stated it does run big. My daughter is 43 inches tall and 50lbs. She normally wears a 5t or size 4/5 or extra small depending on the store or brand. I bought a 3t/4t and it fit perfectly. The waist/bodice was just right and so was the length. It hit right about ankle length and like I said she's around 43 inches or so. The material is OK, typical type cheap faux satin type but strong enough that I wasn't afraid it would rip. The style is the best part, it's just pretty. My daughter wore it for her 5th birthday party and she really looked nice in it. Would recommend to anyone especially at this price.

Absolutely gorgeous dress! I ordered this for my 2 and 5 year old for a collective dress up wardrobe. The dress is very long, but as it's intended to be floor length, it's about right. I had intended for my two kids that are at opposite ends of the growth scale for their respective ages to share the dresses despite the sizes. I think this one will be a tad long for the 2.5 year old but they'll enjoy nonetheless. The material is nice and sturdy enough to hold up for intermittent dress up play. The back has a nice velcro closure which will make play time easier on Mom and more of an independent/co-play between my girls. Would recommend

My daughter loves Elena so I brought this for her birthday, it fit perfectly and the fabric is incredibly soft almost like a silk. She says it is incredibly soft and it has lasted through multiple washes and even in the dryer. Great dress, amazing quality and so fun

The dress is beautiful and comfortable, not scratchy like many can be. It looks just like Elena's adventure dress and both daughters recognized it and loved it.Ordered 3t-4t for my 3yr old that measured at the top end of the measurements for the size, but I wanted it to fit her and not be too big since it's a long dress. The length should have been perfect, I was even a little worried about it being too short....butThis dress is about 4 inches too long for her and the top is also too big. It fits like a size 6. My almost 9yo that wears 8/10 could actually put it on! It was a little snug and short, but if it was a true 3t-4t, she should never have been able to get it on.Now I don't quite know what to do because she loves it, but they don't make a smaller size. Some temporary hem tape will work on the off-white skirt, but I'll have to get really crafty to get the ruffled part shorter and still maintain the ruffles. Safety pin up the back. I'm so disappointed that the size is way off.

Very cute and well made. No scratchy parts, and easy to get on and off. My daughter is 4, almost 5, and wears a 5t or girls 4-5/5, so we bought the 4-6x size. I'd say the dress fits like a 5/6. My daughter is average to talk, and it was about an inch to long in length, so I pinned up the front undershirt, and she was fit. the top was also slightly big, but she had a tank top under it, so no problem. I'm glad she will be able to wear it a while. She was very happy to wear this dress for the first day of Princess Camp!

The Elena dress is pretty but it runs extremely big! I ordered the 3/4 size for my tall 3 & 1/2 yr old, this dress falls off of her shoulders and is entirely too long! She can’t walk in it because is too long, which has made her sad!

I bought 4-6x for my 43" 5 year old and it fit length wise great. It was a little big around top, but she just wore a top underneath so she wouldn't show too much from top and underarm area. This fits closer to a 5/6 or 6 size. Its decent quality for a costume. She wore it 2 different days with no rips or issues. I used a steamer and was able to get out the wrinkles.
