Somerdale Double Devon Cream (5.6 oz)

We have purchased many jars of double cream, many from this manufacturer. The product has always been creamy and rich tasting. This time, we received a jar of curdled, watery, sour cream. It would be nice to receive a replacement.

I was a little concerned about ordering. But I was very surprised at how delicious it was.

I did not even take this out of the Bubblewrap due to smell and most of contents in and around jar being black!!!!!! So gross!!!! Guess I’m making my own from now on!

I enjoyed this on my scone because it is thick and not sweet.

Tastes good. A little more buttery than clotted cream. Does separate, so mix before using. Yummy.

First of all there was a large, bright orange sticker on the package that said “ sold as a set, do not separate” but I only received one item ( as ordered). More importantly the item contained way too much liquid for. Normal separation and was a putrid yellowish green color. The cream itself is a yellow gray color. I do not want to open it if I don’t have to. Adding insult to injury, this item can’t be returned or refunded.

Gave to a friend from England, he said it reminded him of home.

This product came spoiled. It’s completely curdled. Cannot use.
