Wonderfully effective.
I'm a 40 year old guy, a bit overweight oh, and I have a job that keeps me on my feet all day. A couple months ago when I ordered these, I was having noticeable circulatory issues in my lower legs, obviously my comments are not medical advice and only anecdotal, but I wanted to share my experience because it's been very positive. At the time I ordered the socks, I was wondering if perhaps I suffered from multiple afflictions due to the condition of my calf and shin area is, they were red in patches and the elastic from my socks would leave indentations around my calves that were itchy and sometimes painful, these would usually be gone when I woke up in the morning, but my legs were still red and at the time I bought the support socks, I noticed that any Cuts I had on my calves were having trouble healing. I began to worry, and initially decided that getting the long socks would at least save me the compression marks and discomfort from conventional boot cut socks, when I shopped I saw these compression socks and figured it couldn't hurt, more or less purchase them on a whim with no medical understanding of what they did.A couple days before the purchase, I noticed a large blister on the back of my left calf, and I was worried that I might actually be developing gout, or another particular malady which I cannot remember the name of, but manifests in painful weeping blisters which have trouble healing on the lower legs, it was related to the circulatory issues. So I started wearing the socks immediately when I got them, I wasn't sure at first but it seems like my legs were more comfortable.I've been wearing them at work every day for the last few weeks, and I am absolutely astounded. The cuts on my calves have healed, even the blister which I was sure was a manifestation of something more serious, and was not supposed to heal readily, has scabbed over and is almost gone, for the first time in well over a year all the redness has disappeared from my lower legs, along with the pain and wound issues.I'm 6 ft 4, so the Sox only go up to right below my knees, and now the only manifestation of my previous condition, is slight redness in a tiny patch right where the stocks stop, it can be massaged the way very quickly, and other than that my legs seem absolutely normal... I think slightly larger socks would solve the issue completely.Once again I'm not a doctor and if you are having issues with your legs you should probably go get them checked out, but if your symptoms are similar to mine, it could not hurt to try the socks. In my case they worked out better than I ever could have anticipated.

great for anyone who stands or walks a lot
I am a RN who works 12 hour shifts. I have been at it for over 40 years. Through the years I have tried numerous compression socks, but usually gave them up after a few weeks because the discomfort outweighed the benefits. Not true of these socks. They are extremely comfortable, stay up without bunching, and fit perfectly. I love the colors. Our uniforms are dictated by management so we always use our socks as a means of personalizing and to be able to have options other than white is fantastic. I never realized how different my legs would feel with good compression socks. I will not work another day without them.

Make your kids cringe while staying comfortable and looking fine!
I love to walk around the house wearing either long basketball or soccer shorts with long socks pulled up to my knees...its what I do. I am in my 40's, still athletic, I still workout hard, wear athletic gear, but alas...I'm a dad. So no matter what I wear I embarrass the living heck out of my kids apparently. So I figured why not wear some really great feeling and colorful compression socks while I watch the kids face palm in disgust. "Hey, daddy is super comfortable out here kids!" In all seriousness, I was searching the internet for baseball tube socks and stumbled upon these. I am really happy I bought them. They feel GREAT! The fit was perfect. I have muscular calves with smaller ankles, so I worried that they would not fit properly and get the desired compression effect, but I was wrong...they do! My shoe size is a ten, so I went with the S/M sizing and they pull all the way over my calves and to my knees and they stay there nicely. They have an extra compression thingy around the arch which is really nice and they just feel right. They also seem to whisk away sweat and moisture because my feet feel dry and not swampy like after wearing most cotton based socks. The value of the 7 pack was really nice too. Great price for what you get. I ended up buying only one 7 pack and I wish I bought TWO. I think I'm going to go buy another pair...my kids are still cringing. Yours will too! But your feet will love you for it!!!

Runner's review
I am a distance runner and height 5'11 weight 175lbs shoe size US10.5. Got the socks today and ran a quick 5.5 miles. It is a thin sock, which works well with my current shoes that fit snug. I've never had to many problems with blistering or hot spots and didn't feel anything today. I have been using just general athletic socks. The socks sit about 2" below my knee. I was kinda worried in my first half mile, because I could feel them sliding. The sock stayed put after that and the pic was taken after my run not touching them at all once I put them on. My legs seem pretty average for my height and weight. The socks didn't super tight just comfortably tight enough to stay in place, so I wouldn't expect a lot of compression. Disclaimer: This is my first pair of compression socks. I will update this review after a few washes and some longer 10+ mile runs. Hope this was helpful.5/18/19 Company sent a follow up email, which was a nice touch. Just checking on my experience. I did about 10 miles yesterday with no problems in a new pair. Overall, I like the longer compression sock for the feel and sweat wicking ability. Next review will be after I wash them.

Great Compression Socks
I'm giving these 5 stars because they are excellent quality and have sufficient compression for the average user. I, however, have Lymphodema in my RT ankle/calf and need super tight compression to keep my leg from swelling like crazy, especially at work. I do 12 hour shifts and walk an average of 12-15 miles per day during a shift. These just can't keep the necessary compression on my lower leg like the ones I previously bought from my neighborhood pharmacy chain for literally 10X the price. I had to try these though for what Amazon is offering them at. These work for me for days off and I kept em, but can't keep up with me at work. I'm assuming they'd be great for amyone that doesn't need them for medical reasons. Definitely recommend.

Nice sock but not a 15-20 compression
Nice sock but I seriously question the compression stated. They have a light compression but if you really need a 15-20 compression this is not the sock for you.

very comfy.
I got these for my husband for his job. He's liking them so far. I've tried them and they're comfortable. They wash well too. No stretching or shrinking.

Garbage
Bought these socks thinking they would be good. But they’re not compression socks as the ad claimed. They are just cheap Chinese knock offs. Don’t buy anything from China.
