Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson: The Life, Lessons & Rules for Success

While this is an enjoyable read and does fairly accurately follow The Rock's career and personal life, I feel that I have been duped with this purchase. It's more like a pamphlet than a book. The whole thing looks homemade as if a fan printed it out in their bedroom and sold it. It has large font and yet it is paper thin, only 59 pages (and that's including the copyright info and table of contents). Had this have been communicated by the seller, I would not have purchased this "book" at this price. A simple read, seemingly written by a fan, finishable in one sitting. Quick shipping. Final words; buy Schwarzenegger's bio Total Recall instead.

Seriously? Not sure who published/wrote this, but wow well done. Obviously printed aiming for maximum profit from minimal effort.The 'author' (whose name isn't on the book whatsoever?) has (by the looks of it) googled Dwayne Johnson for 30 minutes and written in their own words AND POINT OF VIEW of who the rock is - and gives you an overview of his life in about 5 minutes in terms of conversation time.I actually want a refund. Please, do not buy this 'book'.Was seeking to read up and take in some of his wisdom assuming it was an autobiographical account etc... instead got a book written by a 6 year old.0.1/5 stars (.1 for props for the sheer audacity of the person who's making money from this).

I bought this as a gift for an adult, amongst a group of others I have bought books for. It was delivered today. I can't review the content as I haven't read it yet but I am instantly struck that this is more like a pamphlet than a book, the type font is large so if written as normal book font there would be even less pages. I now feel like it might insult the intended recipient as it is reminiscent of a child's book with big letters and lots of space on the page. They will open this in a group where everyone gets normal font and page numbers, not what I expected for almost £8. I am now wondering whether to gift it at all. It should have been made clearer. Feeling slightly ripped off and nervous about how it will be received :(

Do not waste your money! It’s essentially a leaflet about The Rock. I’m surprised Amazon actually stock this absolute rip off of a product! I’ve had my pants well and truly pulled down!

I returned this straight away, wish I’d read reviews which would have saved the bother. It’s a pamphlet that I could have written from researching google..
