Painless (Steel Demons MC)

In this entry we find Mari and her guys adjusting to a change in their dynamic. Readers and fans girls are all sighing or maybe shouting "Finally!" 3 down 1 to go! Shadow is starting to come out of his shell and it makes me so happy, he's the hero all of us love to read, strong, silent, sexy and mysterious! There is laughter, sadness, smexy times, and new allies. General Tash is still moving in and Crystal Ash is torturing us with the knowledge that something truly awful is to come. Of course even knowing that I will be waiting not so patiently for what's to come for the Steel Demons. The writing is awesome like always. Each character has their own clear voice with distinct personalities and no one gets lost in the crowd. I'm hoping next book will see Shadow front and center getting everything he needs and deserves through Mari's love. Also I think Shadow's needs his pet to show up, something sleek and scary but still beautiful, like a jaguar or wolf, not quite tame but still fiercely protective of those they love, just like Shadow. 5 Stars!

This book seems like it’s the final step toward the cliff’s edge of change, like the next book will have a lot of shake ups, and I really like it...while also being SO nervous. I’m afraid to spoil anything in trying to explain myself so I’ll just talk about my favorite demon instead. Shadow!! <3 He really shows a lot of personal growth in this book. He’s starting to interact more easily and get comfortable around others, particularly Mari. We also get to see him start to experience things that are completely normal to most people, and it’s just...adorable! I want to cuddle him up in my love so badly every time he is confronted with regular human compassion and is f*^king baffled.I’m really looking forward to the next book and I can’t thank Crystal Ash enough for her intense release pace. I know that can’t be easy on her, and I am very appreciative of the short wait between my Steel Demon fixes.

Read this series. Read this book and go ahead and plan on reading the next ones. Ms. Ash keeps revving up the Steel Demons MC series more with each book release. I fall even more in love with Mari and the guys, their animal companions, and the side characters.In Painless we get the adorable Freyja’s antics along with a bit more information about what’s going on. Mari gets her tattoo, the Steel Demons experience more action and loss, and there are new allies. Through it all is this beautiful story that grabs you from the beginning and puts you in the trenches of the post-Collapse world.As in the other books, the steamy parts are balanced well with relationship-building, humor, and action. The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger but does end before something hopefully important happens that I’m really looking forward to in the next book.

I wish I were more eloquent. I truly dont know the words to say how much I enjoyed this book! And not just this one, the whole series, thus far! Shadow, Gunner, Jandro, Reaper, Mari...this group of people. The way Crystal Ash slowly hands out pieces of who they are and how they became who they are now...its like chips. She gives you a couple and of course you want more... she is amazing at making each character relatable in some way, even in this post apocalyptic world. Crystal Ash has really outdone herself here! If love, friendship, suspense, trust, romance are your thing...this book has it all in spades!! Get this book, you wont be disappointed!

This is the fourth installment in the Steel Demons MC series and I still can’t get enough of these books! I fall more and more in love with Mari and her guys every chance I get to read about them. I also love that we get to see a lot more of Shadow because he’s my favorite. The individual relationships between Mari and her guys each get their time to shine and it doesn’t feel like anyone is overlooked or left out. We get some hot, hot, hot scenes and some scenes we cry about and that’s what makes this a truly spectacular book. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

You know a book is good when you yell at it asking it just WHY it is over already! Painless was as amazing as the other 3 books, but we are getting a little more into the animals and their roles (which is just spectacular). We also see more development in the relationships with Mari and the men around her. Some utter devastation that just breaks your heart. Old enemies, new friends. Some hard decisions. Throughout some amazing love still prevails! I got to the end and pre-ordered book 5. I’m hooked and recommend this series to anyone who loves a really good read.

This series keeps getting better. Things are changing for the Steel Demons, and I feel there will be some pain along the way. Mari has the love of three good men, and the guidance of Freyja and Hades. I love how Shadow is coming into his own and becoming more comfortable around Mari, despite his traumatic past. I look forward to when they move past their initial misunderstanding and give in to the feelings and desires growing between them. I'm looking forward to the next book.

After all the sneaky teasers, I thought I was ready. I was wrong!So many questions answered yet so many more questions to figure out. That is the beauty of Crystal Ash and her story telling.I'm absolutely 100% officially obsessed with Mari and her men. So much love, respect, and it feels so natural. Even Gunner. There is so much more to Shadow and it was beautiful to read.Hades putting Reaper in his place by far my favorite moment even over Gunner finally giving in.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I live how the individual relationships are building and still functioning so well as they are part of the group. The best part for me is seeing them all healing each other while going through adversity together and coming out stronger

4th book in the series and still addicted!Loved seeing the growth in Shadow and his change towards Mari. Loved the scenes with Reaper, Jandro and Gunner. Slightly concerned about with the warning from Reapers sister but can't wait to read the next one to see what happens!

WOW another amazing book in the series that kept me reading from start to finish literally!! The MC’s journey keeps you hooked from start to finish!!

Brilliant book again from crystal ash. Twist and turns ups and downs, no matter what is happening in the book it keeps you wanting more and never putting the book down. Can't wait for the rest of her books x

This story is really heating up now, with the big plot line creeping up. I’m so ready for Shadow to be part of her group too
