PrestoFine Shred Cone - Fits Regular Salad Shooter

I have a salad shooter that I have used for over 20 years. One of my favorite shredding pieces finally broke. Nice to replace just a part and not the whole product! Yeah

I bought this as a replacement for my factory cone. It lasted from mid August 2022 until mid April 2023. Cracked apart at the top of the blade edge. Probably used 45 times before it cracked apart. Hope this one lasts longer.

I didn't like that this cone was 3 times what it was on Presto's website but they were out of it. Why isn't it white? It is an ugly tan. It does shred finer than the cone that comes with the unit which I am happy about. It would be nice if they had a parmesan shredding cone but perhaps the motor isn't strong enough to handle it. I love my salad shooter and have owned it since the 80's. I also have a newer model but don't like it as much as the old model.

We use our salad shooter for grating cheese. The original grater insert had cracked some time ago but still worked. It finally broke all the way into pieces and put Taco Night in danger! We found this and ordered it right away. It arrived in a very short amount of time and we were up and running without missing the next Taco Night (Saturdays). It seems to be just as study as the original if not more so. Very pleased! So are the Grandkids whom would have been very sad possibly even distraught over missing a Taco Night and having it replaced with Brussel Spout Night or some other leafy green roughage.

9/1/2019After over 25 years of almost weekly use....my beloved Presto Salad Shooter still works, but it's shredding cone finally cracked. I was so happy to find a shredding cone that not only fit, but was the exact same shredding size as the orginal!! My salad shooter is model # 0291001. This cone has the SQUARE end for the original salad shooters, not the PRO version. It fits perfectly!! It was sent quickly...and although my original does not have "fine shred" engraved on the side (as there was no other options available when I got mine), if you are looking to replace your shredding cone after over 25 years of very faithful use....this is the one!!!In the pics:The whiter (& cracked) cone on the left is the original cone, while the more cream colored cone is the new cone I received.

This was a replacement for my Presto salad shooter. The other one was cracked and soon to break. This replacement was just what I needed.

Buena calidad

It is a smaller shredding cone however I was hoping for a cone for parmesan cheese. Unfortunately Presto does not make one.
