This is my second copy because I wore out my first copy. Marie Louise Von Franz and Sibylle Birkhauser-Oeri are great teachers. It’s written in a way that you can feel them and almost hear them teaching through their writing. It helps in understanding the relationship to the mother archetype and all her different forms.

As a 78 year old white male, I have finally found a resource publication that is helpful in understanding feminine consciouosness. The author is very sophisticated, is edited by another woman who is equally accomplished. Your prognosis for grasping this is better if you have a proclivity for understanding the unconscious.
