Super sharp probe with a fast readings whether I'm checking a roasted chicken in the oven I'm serving for dinner, or giving the green light to multiple pork butts and whole chickens coming off my smoker. It costs least than the high end models but I feel it is just as accurate,, albeit maybe not as fast. I have never worried to within thousands of seconds if something is done or not. With that said, it has a calibration function which I found absolutely amazing. I followed the instructions, calibrated my unit, and have never looked back wondering if I had made a good choice. When doing a lot of hens or pork butts, I always checks what my meter block probs are telling me and I am always on target.
