I think think they are expensive because they supposedly have yarn that will reflect black light. They seem to spend all their money on color designers, as so much of the multi colored yarn is beautiful, when we wish they would make more of their yarn softer. I bought the colorway Money and this has to be the softest Red Heart yarn I've ever handled. The color looks darker than online and leans more purple, but purple is my color so I'm fine with that.
