Good sized shackles with the desirable button knot. Excellent value compared to other shackles with a similar or lower breaking strain.The only issue I have is that instead of splicing the tails back into the shackle, the manufacturers have simply wrapped them in heat shrink. I don't think this will pose a problem considering the size and strength of the shackles but may be a worthwhile exercise to do at home if the heat shrink ever comes away.If you are looking for an inexpensive set of shackles, these are perfect.

It's really unfortunate, these shackles are not rated. The item description lists a WLL rating on Amazon, but anyone who wheels knows that you need to have RATED recovery equipment in their recovery arsenal. The product itself has an unmarked, black sheath - in the same place that every other soft shackle would show its pull rating. I was excited for a cheap alternative to the Bubba Rope, Factor55, Warn, etc shackles, but now I have to return this item. Not only is it not rated but the rope itself looks slightly frayed in points. It does not appear actually have the 17,000lb WLL rating listed in the product description. The only writing on the shackle is a tag that says "Made in China".

Very happy with this rope shackle. I've been shopping around for a while, and came across this one. I wanted to eliminate the steel shackles i used in the past since these are safer and I do a lot of offroad recoveries. (My winch is removed in the pictures because it is being serviced, and my bull bar is designed to be pulled on, DOM tubing)It took exactly two days to show up on my door step from the time I ordered it.I pulled my jeep with it already and it held up great. Seems to do its job and looks good.Going to keep it with my recovery straps and winch gear.

Between Jeeping/offroading and hauling vehicles for our business, i've tried a ton of various straps, clevis's hooks etc. Finally decided to try these soft shackles. I ended up buying a few more to toss in all my vehicles as they definitly make the job easier depending on the circumstance. The only issue, minor as it may be, is that the knot is just the slightest bit too big to easily slip through the loop. I had a hell of a time getting it secure on an especially cold night here in Pa when we needed to yank a plow truck from a snow bank. A combination of cold nylon and even colder fingers didn't help. But otherwise, an excellent product to have in your recovery arsenal.

Only thing that would make it better was if it was free! Love these things. No more looking for a wrench to loosen a stuck d-ring bolt. No worrying about flying d-rings if something gives out. Quick connections. Light weight when dragging through water.
