I love this case! I have 3 of them, 1 for external hard drives when transporting them, 1 for my DJI Osmo Pocket and accessories, and 1 for my G17 Gen4.I dropped the case that had my external hard drive and the HD was totally fine.One of my cases was on the floor of a boat that started sinking. It was partially submerged by the time I got to it. When I got back to dry land, I opened it up and it was completely dry inside.I use it to hold my 9mm so I can lock it up while transporting it. It can hold the pistol and 2 mags.Definitely a solid case!

This case is awesome. Great quality for the price
This case is awesome. Great quality for the price. I have Pelican cases and this is just like it. Size is great for a pistol, compact or full size (1911). I have not tested the waterproof but with the quality I have no doubt it will do as it says. I will buy more SKB cases in the future and if you are on the fence about Pelican or SKB, go with the SKB. You will not be disappointed.
