Tuf LineML18100 Micro Lead Core Spectra Braid Trolling Line, 18-Pound

I haven't fished with this yet but I have spooled on an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6500. The 18lb 100 yards just fits with a little bit of room for trace, but no backing. The line is noticeably thinner than traditional lead line.

Gave it 4 stars only only took it out once. Let you know more later. Size is great fits smaller reals and threads through the poles nicely. Do far love it. On the expensive side.

This line performs as advertised! Very dense for its diameter and I troll with it from a row boat and it sinks to the correct depth using the color count method. Ties nice knots for lead core line, and is flexible. Highly recommended.

Works good, can't tell how deep it is running yet. Easy to remove lead core on ends to tie onto leader or backing material. Don't try to spool it off the reel to fast, it can bunch up. No problems with it yet, have been using it for about a month.

Good quality product. I have spooled it up but have not used it yet -- hopefully in the next 2 weeks. Line is just as expected, brand new in the package. Price was great and I actually added to another item to raise my combined order of $35+ for free shipping I try to buy locally to support the small local tackle shops, but same thing would have been twice as much locally -- assuming I could find it.

Like that it is thinner, but when they say "you will achieve SIMILAR results" depth-wise in feet-per-color, its not similar enough. Had trout locked in at 4 1/2 colors on previous line (Sufix 732 18 lb.). After changing over to this, only 2 days later, still trying to find the trout. Have used a wide range from 4-7 colors with poor results. Conditions havent changed. Still seeing fish in same depth range, but now I'm pretty sure that the change in line is not getting me in the right spot in the water column.

This is what I have been waiting for,fight the fish and not the line leadcore,very supple for this type of line,no more bulky reels and overly lengthy and heavy rods to contend with. Thank you Tuf-Line.

I use this line when trolling for lake trout and haven't had any issues with it. I actually like it more than the Sufix lead core line.
