The majority of these testimonies are great, but some are not scriptually grounded.
A parent who tells a child that they have to be second to a sick child, clearly is opening a door for the spirit of rejection to come in. Calling up psychics is a form of witchcraft and it is sin even more so giving honor for it. Those who commit suicide cannot repent for their sin, therefore it is impossible to say they are in heaven, however, God can use any situation to help and minister to others. These particular testimonies were just not biblical, although scripture was used to justify these situations. Other than this, great book.

Great theme, but many stories missed the mark for me
I was searching for books on modern miracles, examples of how God is actively working in the world today. To reinforce my faith as well as show friends who aren't believers. What I found in this book was a wide range of stories: helpful strangers who inexplicably vanish, conversion stories where a life changes over time, and nice dreams people had as children. The first type was great. The second two categories weren't what I was looking for. Maybe half the stories fit the first category. Some didn't even feel like they belonged in this book.I did like the author's writing style, which adjusted with the personalities of the people she portrayed in each story. I sat down and read the entire book in one evening. But I didn't come away with the goosebumps and examples I was hoping for.

You May Find It Difficult To Read About Some of the Suffering.
I expected this book to be very uplifting, but I found parts of it to be very depressing. There was one very long story about a baby born with many health problems, and that story went on and on. Reading that section was a chore so imagine what it was like for that baby to have actually lived through what I was merely reading. The mother of that baby had to go through so much worry and must have also felt every pain the baby felt. The formatting definitely needs work.

Miracle Are Everywhere
When people think about miracles, too often their minds go to the parting of the Red Sea, Jesus' feeding of the 5,000 and whatever other highly visible, dramatic demonstration of Godly power comes to mind. This is understandable. God has and does perform these types of miracles. But if we limit our perception of the miraculous as some type of motion picture event we miss the daily, yes, I said daily miracles he performs in our lives. What this book illustrates is a deep truth of the Christian faith. Surrendering to God in an act of faith releases from within oneself the self imposed restrictions that blind us to God's miraculous interventions in our lives. God's biggest miracles often occur when we take the tiniest steps toward him and he then orchestrates blessings or interventions we could never have imagined. And if we do not have receptive spirits, we miss the opportunity, the blessing and the evidence. All of this is to say that this simple book is a chance to see this in the lives of a few real people. This is empowering. No matter how new or deep your faith, reading other people share the experience of surrender to and recognition of God's hand in their lives will encourage and strengthen your walk. This is not deep theology. It's just life lived out with God. A buy signal from me.

This is a book I would definitely recommend.
Sometimes, as a Christian, it just really encourages me to hear about a real-life-today miracle that happened to someone. Well, I got to learn about 32 of them in Joanie Hileman's eBook: MIRACLES 32 TRUE STORIES. Each chapter was one person's experience. I also liked how Hileman included relevant Scripture within each story. God is good and caring all the time, and it just builds our faith to read of His personal intervention sometimes. This is a book I would definitely recommend.

Precious stories
This is just an ebook I got free a few years ago and finally have read it. What an inspiring story or 32 stories I should say. It is full of such wonderful, precious things that have happened. You will read how God has protected or how He has sent people signs by different things that happen. In the above section talking about this book it tells about a boy recovering from a massive brain injury. In that story a boy/young man wanted to see a miracle and God let him be in a miracle. He was in a horrible car accident with the doctors saying he wouldn’t survive and if he did he would be brain damaged. He comes through it all and doesn’t need much time to recover to his self before the accident. Afterwards he said during the accident God reached down and held his hand. Many more stories in this book just like that. Very good and I recommend it.This is my own book and I wasn’t asked to review it

A few nice things to fuel hope.
We need to be reminded now and then that it's not all grey. Statistics, cold facts, the 90% that fail, things that go wrong and stay that way, that's more like life. However, we need to tell ourselves stories with a happy ending. This book provides some - they say true - stories of things getting better, mainly through the power of prayer. I am not a believer; I am a sceptic in that I know that those cases are anecdotal evidence; all which runs contrary to the norm. So many prayers go unanswered... But those fulfilled prayers give us hope. A bit of light in the surrounding darkness. Some would mind that it contains so many religious references and Bible verses, but I don't. To me it's like any other book. I don't have to believe a book in order to appreciate its qualities and good intentions.

Faith building x
I really enjoyed reading through this collection of inspiring stories of God's faithfulness and the power of miracles that are much alive today as they were 2000 years ago. It's awesome to read and builds up your faith.I love singing at the top of my lungs, [although other might not like it:)]the brilliant words within the Hillsong worship song 'The same power that conquered the grave lives in us.' This book inspires me to keep praying and keep believing. God works in the most mysterious ways and through/ in unexpected places as our family have encountered on more than one occasion and I'm sure many others reading this have to.I love reading what God is doing in other brother and sister's lives out there, we need to read and tell these testimonies more than ever.I would highly encourage anyone to read this book and especially those who are in need of refreshment or encouragement.x

Inspirational true life stories
I enjoyed the stories and found a few had a strong relevance to events in my own life. Of course, not all the tales are true miracles but some are, and those that are not are unlikely coincidences that do appear to have a spiritual basis. The book is recommended especially for readers who have experienced addictions and periods of self neglect and despair since hope can be engendered and recovery achieved from the lessons learnt.

Wonderful read
Really lovely heartfelt experiences of Faith in action. The ponderous results from our Lord are simply as the book says "miracles".The people who opened their heartworm this book are to be commented as it is not easy to talk about some of the difficulties these people faced. We are never left alone once we turn to our Lord for love, guidance and support. This is conveyed excellently in these experiences. Thank you.

Patience
I would not have considered reading a book like this ten years ago, but my life has changed recently and I have a different perspective nowadays. These stories have a certain twee factor in many cases and you won't be converted just by reading them but if you have an interest in Faith or humanity then you will probably enjoy most of these stories.
