Plunder and Deceit: Big Government's Exploitation of Young People and the Future

Mark Levin's book is a great read for anyone that wants to inform themselves on a variety of current political topics and he goes out of his way to give principled, intellectual and economic reasons for his arguments. If you are a person who considers themselves a liberal, I would recommend this book because it dissagrees with you, and that difference of opinion is sadly lacking in the media today. I've read books from other radio hosts and could not get through them, too much name calling and vitriol. Plunder and Deceit is much more high brow. Levin departs from the litany of establishment Republican talking points and quotes some of my favorite founding fathers and prolific economists in a short well written book. Regardless of your political leaning he attempts a call to arms of the youth of our country by explaining that your generation Will Pay for the mistakes we Are making. Politics is THE subject that I nerd out on and I was Very impressed with the research that went into this book. Mr. Levin is a highly educated lawyer who worked for the Regan administration and my only concern is that parts of the book will be over the heads of many young people to whom the book is meant to be a call to action. I hope I'm wrong because our younger generations desperately need to know how bad off our country is financially and They are the ones who will Pay. Keep your dictionary close or buy it on kindle so you can click and get the definitions of all the big words because we all need to know this stuff. Read this book, even if you disagree with Levin, you cannot disagree with the well researched facts about our countries financial troubles.

Plunder and Deceit provides compelling documentation of the critical issues that face our Nation such as our crushing debt, immigration, the communistic tyranny disguised as the environmental movement, the destruction of a constitutional based republic and more. Mark does a wonderful job of highlighting the fact that our children and our grandchildren will bear the full weight and consequences of progressivism long after the current generation passes into memory. Will our posterity look back and thank us for our vigilance or will the curse our memory and our apathy when it was all on the line?I was turned on to the book The Liberty Amendments via Glenn Beck and have now purchased Men in Black as well. Before listening to the Mark Levin show I felt as though all I had was impotent anger and frustration. Like many of those I have heard on his radio show, I felt that I was simply casting about saying, "What can I do? What can I do?" Over the past few months, I feel that I have been able to find a way to become involved. I have since joined and volunteered for Freedom Works and Convention of States. I am a frequent caller to my state and federal representatives. I was so looking forward to your new book, Plunder & Deceit, that I preordered a Kindle version from which I can make notes, a physical copy for my father and 4 copies of the audio CDs. One of these is for my family of 5 sons and wife (I frequently listen to audio books or podcasts during my drives to and from work), one for a good friend and two copies for coworkers. Mark Levin is a true patriot and thinker in the mold of the Founders and I thank him for helping the rest of us wake up and go into action. Plunder & Deceit offers the critical information, incredibly well cited, to educate our children, families, friends and coworkers to the cancer that is progressivism and socialism. The liberals, the far left and the media accomplices are destroying our country and stealing our liberty given us by God. These cancers are a threat to our way of life and our children's future. Mark Levin is a doctor and Plunder & Deceit is the remedy!

Levin delivers well once again, thorough explaining what on the line of rate next generation amid escalating debt and deficit.This book is an important way to arm yourself with information as Social Security, Medicare and programs we have been paying into a teetering. We perhaps know intuitively that the country is in immense fiscal trouble. This book really explains why.That said compared to some of his others, it isn't his best book.Liberty and Tyranny was a page turner and one for the ages. Plunder and Deceit is engrossing in parts, but even for a public policy guy can get dry. But this is information we should know. If it is eating our vegetables, overall, the book does an excellent job in helping the reader do that in a very engaging way.

Mark Levin effectively submits how the USA--after managing to rise out of tyranny, establishing liberty, and becoming the most powerful-successful-free-democratic country on Earth--has declined into statism. The Democrat Party has brought in policies which promise fairness and safety but actually are designed to seize power, secure power, infinitely expand the scope and size of government--paid for by American citizens who are not a part of the government. Meanwhile government debt grows out of control to horrific levels--never stopping.It is not sustainable will result in economic catastrophe.This book helps you realize how so many of today's government policies are merely a tool to get people to rely on government and happily give up their freedoms.The only way to stop it, is to fight it. When someone eschews liberalism--for example, the scam of man-made climate change or increasing the minimum wage,etc. --conservatives and those who want to defend liberty need to challenge this and gradually get people to re-embrace freedom and capitalism."Plunder and Deceit" helps you put all of this into perspective and motivates you to use this analysis to fight statism in order to save liberty and economic collapse before it is too late.

Levin has done it again. A no nonsense account of the state of the nation. But not only that. A book filled with facts and remedies for reclaiming liberty and freedom from an overarching government and crony capitalism.If you are young you should read it.If you have kids, you should read it.If you have grandkids you should read it.If you despise the tyrants, small and big, you should read it.

No fluff, scholarly, description of the deplorable and deteriorating state of the financial obligations, cronyism, debt, security, and political situation today in the United States.

Levin never writes a bad book! Too bad there aren't more like him in America.
