You need to buy your own batteries.
For a 3 year old child & older. I bought it for my 41/2 year old grandson. He loves it. Plays all the time with it

Bluetooth connection is poor
The made quality is poor in general, unfortunately I don't see this toy last long. The flimsy plastic and the screw in battery immediately doesn't work. My husband take a while to dig it out. The Bluetooth connection is poor with lag, we need to constant restart the car to make it work. It's for my 6 year old son birthday present. He really likes it regardless all the lag and problem. Therefore we won't return it. But the made isn't ideal. I guess it doesn't reflect in the price tag.
