Fun training toy
My Malinois likes it. Good for training on the go, it fits in my treat pouch or pocket. Good for tug and fetch. The toy is meant for interactive play, not independent play- teach your dog that playtime ends if they grab the rope instead of the ball and it will last a lot longer.

Looks pretty sturdy. Will see how it holds up to a lg dog

So good, I repurchased
This is one of my dog's fave fetch toys, and after losing it in a grassy field, I repurchased. The ball is heavy and durable, and the rope is sturdy and just the right length for flinging. When this comes out, my dog knows we're playing fetch! There's no strange smell out of the package, and while my 70lb Samoyed isn't a hard chewer, he hasn't put a dent or nick in the ball itself. It's not so hard that I'd be worried about him gnawing on it, either.

Ball is perfect, rope not durable for chewers
My dog loves the ball but hates the rope 😂. Maybe some more durable rope for dogs that love to chew would be a better.

Rope very painful if you have a strong dog
I'm thrilled with the strength of this ball on a rope, and it's working great as a reward with my 80 lb male malinois, EXCEPT the rope is killing my hands. I have bruises on the inside of my pinky and ring fingers because the rope is so thin that it digs into my hands while my dog is tugging. If you have a strong dog that actually can pull, I don't see how you can comfortably use this. I'll keep using for the moment because it is by far the most durable ball-on-a-rope I've found, but I'm planning to build my own using a ball with a hole in the middle and some thicker rope that will be easier on the hands. Not sure how everyone else is having success with these. Maybe their dogs aren't that strong or maybe they don't really let their dog tug it for more than a second.

Our Rottweiler LOVES these balls.
Our Rottweiler LOVES these balls. I've forgotten how many I've bought and will buy more. A tip give your dog lots of great toys so they are not tempted to eat the furniture.

The cord frayed on the very first day.
My dog in't a very aggressive chewer; this is within 2 hours of giving him the toy. Pretty disappointed with the quality. Since my dog likes it, I will try and use it with another rope.
