McKnight's Physical Geography: A Landscape Appreciation 12th Edition

Got this for my Geography 150 class. Turns out it's a recommended book, not required, so initially I was upset that I spent the money on it.Once I started using it, I was glad to have it! This book is beautiful, nicely laid out, and very interesting to read - unlike many textbooks I've experienced.You can get earlier editions for much cheaper, which may be a good option as I think they are very very similar. The professor used a much earlier edition to base lectures and assignments from, and this book still went along with everything perfectly.This book also explains the concepts much better than my own teacher did, which is another reason I'm grateful that I have it.I will probably keep this book just cuz of how fun I find the material, even though this is the only science class I will probably be taking.Loose leaf books kind of bother me, but it was kind of nice to just put a few chapters in at a time (plus appendices) and change them out as the course progressed.

I bought mine USED. The pictures are just to show it's just hardcover normal wear, the book itself it in great condition.Price: 40 bucks for an expensive book is helpful for us college strugglers.Overall: I'm happy with it. It's not a Pokemon card so I wasn't expecting a pristine book. Will be selling back after I'm done with class anyhow.

the hardcovers were beat up and ripped but the pages on the inside are nice and still readable.

I used this book for class and it saved me money by renting rather than buying. It was in good shape and it served the purpose well

I bought the text book new. The product seems kinda old and kindly used. Everything is in tact but a few pages are bent.

I rented this textbook for my lecture class. I dont know how many people have used it before, but it was in a really good condition. And there is a sticker on the cover of the textbook reminding you when you have to return the textbook by, so you won't forget to return it:)

It's a textbook rental so, I wasn't expecting top quality, even slightly worn would have warranted an o.k. review. But the spine is cracked and the middle section of the book is falling out. Thankfully the pages are glossy, and I suspect water resistant otherwise they might have been damaged too. I really need this textbook for this week so, I feel kind of locked into keeping it around. I usually carry my books in my bag all semester, but this is one class that I'm going to have to rely more on notes and doing the readings at night, which is kind of an inconvenience as a student because I don't think this thing will stay together unless I leave it on my desk at home.I've included photos so you can see what I'm talking about.This was delivered to me 1/21/2017
