LifeStraw Unisex's Home Filter Pitcher, White, 7cup

I did A LOT of research before buying. I was looking for a water filter jug that wasn’t too expensive and can filter PFAS as well as Microplastics. This pitcher absolutely does the job. It comes with a brizzly filter which they call the straw and it comes with a filter that sits in the bottom of the filter area so you already fill like this product is going to be doing the work. I can absolutely tell the difference in taste. I live in London and tap water has a distinct flavour that’s not pleasant and that’s completely gone. One important thing to note, it takes a while to filter. But it does speed up over a couple of weeks. Personally I feel reassurance it’s taking a little while as I presume it’s going through all the filter channels. Just make sure you keep refilling after every use.

Love this water filter, wish it was glass however. It is slow to filter but that’s to be expected. Really pleased with it aside from the plastic. Like how it looks.

Good One of the few filters which can filter out Cryptosporidium and other nasty things. Water tastes better. Bad Hard to fit filter I found the bottom of the centre piece hard to take off. When I managed to get it off, it went flying across the kitchen and landed on the floor. Slower than my old filter After initially setting it up, no water filtered through. Eventually there was a drip being filtered. This has speeded up a bit but I still have to plan ahead and leave it for a while. You are left with a small bit of unfiltered water in the top part There is a always a bit of water which does not pass through the membrane and filter. So when you go to pour the filtered water, you end up pouring the unfiltered bit into a glass as well. I have tried to put the glass at a 45o angle to just get the filtered water in the glass but because of the design the unfiltered water gets poured down as well. If you were using water where it was crucial that all of it was filtered then this could be an issue. I think that you would either have to put something down to mop up the unfiltered water. Alternatively if you purchased their separate Lifestraw, perhaps you could suck up the little bit of unfiltered water which it leaves behind through the straw so that this was filtered.

Add minerals after filtering, I think it filters a lot of them out and that can make your water taste weird.

Buon prodotto, l'unica cosa migliorabile è che il serbatoio di riempimento è molto piccolo, per cui per riempire l'intera caraffa bisogna versare acqua man mano nel serbatoio filtrante.

I love this water pitcher. The filtration system is excellent, and the design is amazing. Yes, it takes a little time to fill out, but for me, this is a sign of a quality filter. I definitely recommend trying out this great product.
