Q: I wear a 9.5 boot will the mens 9 work, or be short?

It will be short. Buy the 10 and use the original insole to trim to size.

Q: Do these go on top of or replace normal boot insole

I removed the original insole and used this as replacement due to shoe sizing. However, It can be added on top of the original. Hope this helps! I love my Spenco Total Support Gel Shoe Insoles!

Try removing the original insoles then add these to your shoes. That’s how I got a perfect fit and perfect comfort.

Q: I wear a 8 dress shoe and 8-l/2 running shoe - with wide feet! Don"t see any 8 - 8-1/2 sizes.

Search outside amazon. The size they have is all they could get I guess. Some companies do not make wide insoles or shoes ... not as much call for(profit either.) I have wide feet and regular size insoles work for me.

Comfy feet

Got these for my wife and son because they do a lot of standing at work, my son tells me they are the difference between being able to walk home after a shift or not and my wife loves them to, her only complaint is they are so thick they make her feet hot, but she is looking forward to the winter
