Pros:Inexpensive.Looks like decent wood (though that's misleading)Fairly easy to assemble, though single-page instructions got some steps reversedKind of amusing to see connector rings go flying across the room when you try to get them on the tabsDividers are optionalCons:Single-page instructions got some steps reversed"Ophir" logo (though it can get reversed inwards)CHEAP materials:- Uber-thin plywood with noticeable gaps in central layer (first photo shows a void in the middle layer of the three).- Pieces often have one side that is kinda dirty, or has noticeable visual flaws.- Fit of the various pieces is not great. The drawers have noticeable gaps between the edges and base, even at the least-warped sections, limiting usefulness. Small parts *will* fall out of these things.- ALL the shelves are warped in both sets that I got. These are supposed to be flat...MDF would've been better. Second photo shows arch on end of a shelf. Third photo shows stack of knife blades that could've been twice as thick and still fit under the corner. Fourth photo shows assembled item, with only one knife blade fitting between the center of the shelf and the cutting mat; compare that distance to the edges of that shelf.TBH, I'm kinda glad that Ophir got its logo on these. I now know better than to buy stuff with that brand.I wish I could've returned these, but they were half the cost of what they are now, and I've already assembled them....

The media could not be loaded. I like it. It is pretty on par with every other layer cut wood product these days. It fits together just fine, and is surprisingly sturdy. The removable dividers were perfect. I left them mostly out of the drawers. Holds paint well, just not really any place to hold brushes, but it wasn’t advertised to, so , I guess that’s on me. Over all, I am very happy to have purchased this.

Put in another $17 and get something hard plastic. This FLIMSY wood is extremely FRAGILE!! THE DRAWERS ARE TINY!!! Not adequate by any means!!! Already in the garbage!

Easy to assemble, light weight, good for starting hobbyist

I will never buy this product again. The assembly instructions are virtually useless. The cheap material makes it warped and easy to crack. Some slots you have to force in while others are extremely loose. Take the time and find something else

When I first got this I could not wait to get it. Then when I got it, my jaw dropped. This was HORRIBLE!HOW THIS COMESThis comes in so many pieces it is overwhelming. I am serious. Not only that, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL WITH THIS.HOW TO ASSEMBLEThis is was a challenge to say the least. I had to look at the photo on the listing page to get any ideas. There was absolutely NOTHING with this kit to show you how to assemble anything.HOW LONG DID IT TAKE?This took me an hour and a half to assemble this because none of the pieces are marked so it is impossible to know what to put together quickly. It really takes some time to sort and think this through.AFTER PUTTING TOGETHERAfter finally getting this put together, I have to say, the bands hold for now, but I am considering putting glue on each place and then replacing the bands one at a time to make it more stable.DOES IT HOLD A LOT?This does hold quite a bit of craft paint and mica or glitter jars. The drawers have to be small jars, but the top holds jars that are taller. You might have to swap out the dividers by putting the smaller ones in the drawers and larger ones on top.THE BOTTOM LINEThis has no instructions, is really frustrating to figure out at first, but is worth it if you can get it figured out by seeing the photos on the listing. I plan to put some glue for reinforcement one spot at a time and replace the bands for future stability.MY RATINGFOUR STARS only because this should have come with a photo and some sort of instructions. It is pretty nice but should have come with something to help assemble. I want to give it fewer stars, but I do like the storage chest assembled, so I am staying with the four stars for now.
