Kuyal Electric Kettle, Double Wall Stainless Steel Cool Touch Tea Kettle with 1800W Fast Boiling Heater, Cordless with Auto Shut-Off & Boil Dry Protection 1.7L

Like many kettles it has the same leaky bottom. This mainly from the design of the spout. Held at the wring angle it dribbles down the kettle & the overlup of metal could have been ectended to cover more over the external plastic. The lid also allows water, via steam to ingress iinside the plastic.Great feature all steel inside. No plastic taste & no leaky water fill indicator as hasnt got one.Great kettle but again leaky bottom as is the bane of all kettles, this one far less than expensive makes.

So far so good but the lid of my previous kettle broke at the hinge. I am willing to give it another try as all other attributes are excellent

I bought this kettle in Feb 2022 and I really liked it while I had it. It was quite easy to clean aswell but unfortunately it only lasted for a year and now when I boil the kettle it no longer stops boiling automatically, I have to manually turn off the kettle or it’ll just keep boiling even after it’s done.

Had to replace a kettle I just got the mid of 2020. The on-off switch wouldn't come on anymore. So we replaced it with this kettle. So far I love it. Wide opening to get in and clean the scale. The temp control is easy to use. The handle is very sturdy feeling and have yet to be burnt by steam or escaping water like some kettle handles. The heat indicator light is not annoying, and I have already gotten used to the beeps. I like that it beeps when it is done. It seems to use less electricity than my old kettle as I watch the smart meter. And I tested leaving it on with the micro reheats, and it doesn't use up as much of a shock in electricity as the initial brew. I have run it dry to test the shut-off and all seems in working order. I hope in 6 months time I can say the same thing.

Should have a filter as limescale build and the holes are to big a mesh filer would of been goodAlso it has no indicator of water level if the blue led lit up to show level would of been better

I love this kettle, it's stylish and well-designed. I thought it would be smaller from the photo but it's about 25 cm high, nice capacity, easy to lift and pour, a large pop-up lid which opens up properly to 90 degrees you can fill it up from the tap easily, no fiddling to get round the lid. Easy to fill too if you use a water filter to fill it. I have not found it noisy, on the contrary the Russell Hobbs Adventure (which I returned) was noisy and it wobbled on its base. This Kuyal one does not, it's sturdy. Water level indicator inside could be a little clearer but since you can see right inside due to the wide circumference and pop-up lid it's not a problem. Spout is large enough to pour well and not splurge. Nice funky (but discreet) blue ON light. Like the other reviewer I hope it lasts.

Boils quickly and is reasonably quiet, but the materiels feel very cheap (I've bought much better from argos for a fiver) and the boil sensor way overboils the water, and doesn't turn itself off when you lift it up, so you put it back down and it continues to boil until it either finally detects a full boil or you remember to switch it off manually. Works okay in a pinch, but would not recommend.

Plain white simple clean look! The kettle with temperature control keeping warm function is very impressed for me! 4 levels temperature for keeping warm LED display easy and clear to see, touch panel control is easy to use as well, double layer inner wall with stainless steel it seems more functional, 1.7litre capacity is enough for family of 4 generally use! The whole fully loaded capacity need to take about 6mins for boiling, the speed is average. The kettle is quite slim looking, cordless so it quite good for any small kitchen as well, it won’t b occupied too much countertop space! I have been used it about a week, so far so good!
