The Coolest
The Green Lion jeweler’s saw is hands down the coolest saw I’ve used. The design is ergonomic and balanced, making it so much more comfortable than traditional saws. The sturdy frame and smooth tension adjustment make cutting precise and effortless. It’s well-built, easy to control, and just feels great in hand. A total game-changer for jewelry making!

Not just pretty, it works!
And, it works great. The handle is comfortable and the whole saw is weighted well and comfortable to use all day. I’m so happy with this purchase! And it’s so pretty.

Love it!
Like most, I learned to saw with a standard German style saw. I can not believe how much smoother and more enjoyable it is to saw with this frame. It's more comfortable to hold, and the frame is much more sturdy than a typical frame, so I make smoother cuts and break less blades. This was absolutely worth the money for me, and if you have struggled with sawing, I highly recommend giving it a shot.It did take me some time to learn to tension the blades. These frames have very little give, so you have to get used to pushing in the frame a lot less. It will feel like you're not getting enough tension, but I have found that the little bit of give the frame has is plenty, and ultimately makes sawing much smoother.

Makes my work easier!
I’m very impressed with this saw. The handle is comfortable, the tensioner design is awesome and my blades are wearing out before they break. I don’t think I have any complaints about this saw! I do a lot of batch work and I will spend days sawing so I wanted something that would be good for that. My old saw used to hurt my hand over time (it had a wooden handle) and my hand isn’t even tired after hours of using this thing. I highly recommend.

This saw is BAD ASS
Just used my GreenLion for the first time today. Fantastic design! The thumb screws are very well fabricated. No risk of breaking when tightening. Blades stay tight while sawing. Don’t waste your money on a $20 saw!! This is a BIG DIFFERENCE!! The bow has the perfect stiffness. A slight snap it of pressure springs it inward. Then you just tighten your second thumb screw and let the tension off. Instant tight taught blade. Very nice saw!

Happy with my purchase of this Greenlion Saw frame
I like the way this saw frame fits my hand. My old German saw frame had a much thinner handle causing me to grip it harder to control it. This Greenlion has a larger and grippier handle making it easy to control as I saw. I like the ease with which I can change blades. I hated having to press so hard with the traditional saw frame. The GreenLion frame does not need the user to press it against the bench for blade changes, just squeeze the two curved areas at top and bottom and that is enough compression to place the proper tension on the blade. I lent my frame to a friend to test out and now she is planning to purchase one of these saw frames too. There is one thing I don’t like about the frame. As the metal dust drops it tends to adhere to the handle, which is thermoplastic. I dust it off with a small a brush and that gets rid of most of the dust. I suppose it’s part of the tradeoff for having a grippier handle. This doesn’t affect my sawing.Someone in an earlier review mentioned a problem with breaking blades. Maybe they weren’t using enough lubricant. I don’t find myself breaking more blades and I am consistently using lubricant when I saw. I use this blade to cut non-ferrous metals such as silver, copper, nickel, and brass.

A very nice saw frame, especially for large hands, with almost enough clearance
Overall this has been a very nice little saw frame to use, especially compared to the German style frames I had been using before. Changing blades it pretty easy on it for the most part, and it's pretty simple getting good tension with my fingers on the curved wings (might be a different story if you have small/tiny hands). The grip is really comfortable for big hands, nice solid rubber that doesn't slip on you. It's definitely made sawing a whole lot more comfortable than it was before.About the only the only little gripe I find is that when working with larger pieces the depth between the blade and the saw frame can be a little lacking since you have the curved frame which can limit the length of the saw blade stroke if your work piece is larger. I'll probably need to just get a little bigger rectangular frame saw for the larger stuff at some point, and keep this for the smaller and mid size work.Other than that it's been a real pleasure using this saw, it's also probably one of the nicest looking saw frames out there.

Best saw on the planet!!!
By far this is the BEST saw I've used!!! Easy to load, easy to to move and control, and really light. I've used the very cheap ones and the complicated very expensive ones. You get the simple design similar to a cheap saw but the quality surpassed that of the very high end saws. From beginner to decades in expert, I would honestly put money on it that if you try it, you'll buy!! It's that great.
