Paraben Phone Recovery Stick, USB Drive with Software to Recover Deleted Data from Hundreds of Smart Phones and Tablets, for Windows Based Computers

Total waste of money. The only recovered data was a few text messages since my data loss. I was desperate when making this purchase to recover the accidentally deleted data on my "Dialer Storage" on my LG Optimus V phone - Android 2.2.1 - which caused all saved text messages and associated photos (3 years worth) to disappear on the phone. My phone met all of the requirements to use the software - after running the software several times and following all directions with no recovered lost data, I contacted Paraben Customer Support - the representative gave what seemed to be a long, well-rehearsed Disclaimer Speech - the essence of which was: "Cell phone data recovery is much more difficult than normal data recovery - most data when deleted, disappears for good within 4 milliseconds" - basically left me with the feeling of "Why are you selling this product and promising so much (when the chances of recovery are so slim)?" - see Paraben's series of YouTube videos. The rep also tried to upsell me on a much more expensive cell phone data recovery product - in the hard-to-believe range of $2,000 - no doubt testing my level of desperation - I passed.What can I say, I was desperate, sold a product which promised a lot and delivered nothing - big time disappointed and discouraged here - seemed too good to be true that the data could be recovered, and it was. There's a sucker born every day - today that sucker is me.

I was unable to use the product for my broken FIre phone. The details /Description gives the impression that the device can be operated on phones that are malfunctioning. In actuality you must be able to turn on the phone and go to the settings app on your phone device in order to run the program. My phone was completely shut down so there's no way that I can tell if this product really works.

Waste of time and money. Does not recover deleted data at all. Also fell completely apart when removed from USB.

Does this device recover deleted messages from facebook messenger and sms messages

Took some work but got a lot of data.I ran a recovery on a couple different Android phones that I have with mixed results. The first was an older phone and it connected and downloaded data from the phone easily and got deleted data. The next was a newer phone that I'd never connected to my PC. I had to find the drivers but eventually got the software to see the phone. It didn't recover deleted data. After looking into it, I realized I had to root the phone because it was running Android 5 (this was annoying but after more research, it looks like pretty much every data recovery tool for Android requires this). Once I rooted it, I was able to recover deleted data.One thing I noticed was that it makes a huge difference on recovery times based on your selections. I recovered only text data in less than 20 minutes but it took nearly 17 hours to do the full recovery. I could see it processing through all the apps and phone files and I have a lot of data on the phone.I'm giving it 5 stars because of how much data it got from the phone despite not being so easy to work with.

It did not work on my computer. If I could give it a zero, I would. What a disappointment.

This was a product that I ordered for a friend. With the new software update to android devices it does not work. I'd stay away until they update the software on their end.
