These are sturdy and can hold quite a bit I was looking for garbage bag that don't burst when you put in cans bottles or you have to fill it up this is a good sturdy garbage bag and it doesn't seem to have a bad odor

These are our go to. We notoriously overfill our trash bags. These always expand and never rip. We'll never change brands.

Love these bags! They stretch without busting. Sadly they do leak so double up if you're throwing chicken carcass in the trash. The straps are not always durable. The odor blocking works as long as trash is taken every day.

So I wouldn't ever think I'd take time to write a review on trash bags. But, here I am...As with most things in life, you don't know just how precious a thing is to you until it's lost. This sad tale happened to me a year ago. The setting... a cold rainy night. The dear wife asks me to take out the trash. I can't find my slippers but decide to face the weather anyway. Barefoot, I plunge into the icy darkness with a stinky bag of kitchen scraps in hand. The wind howls! The trees violently sway. The rain beats at my eyes. I use the trash bag as a shield against the brutal onslaught of mother nature. I'm about halfway across the driveway, which at this point is a shallow river.To my horror, through the din of the howling storm, I hear a POP!! What could this be?!? Am I to die out here from a falling tree branch? Landslide? No! The POP I'd heard was my trash bag. The side had ripped all the way open spilling its terrible garbage all over the driveway. I fall to my knees in despair but no one can hear me over the storm! Shoveling the garbage up with my hands I make multiple, wet trips back and forth to the garbage can. The thunder and lightening mocking my gags of disgust! As I struggled to maintain consciousness, I saw only one word on the shredded trashbag... G-L-A-D. When I stumbled back into the house my dear wife did not recognize the man that stood, broken, before her.After 3 months of rehabilitation and intensive therapy, I was released from the hospital a changed man. I vowed to NEVER buy a cheap brand of kitchen bag ever again. And I would lead a campaign spreading the good word. Hefty trash bags have saved my life! These are the best bags I have ever used. They've NEVER failed me on the way to the garbage cans.Thank you Hefty! (there may have been some poetic elaboration in my review. But you still make a darn good bag!!!)

I will buy them again as this was a great buy on Amazon, much better than even at Walmart, as they do not usual carry this size. For the price and the quantity and the quality of Hefty kitchen bags, this is great and they do have a very soft and light smell which is not overpowering. The bags are strong, and I have never had any break or damaged. Will buy again for sure.
