Lovely item exactly as described

I was hoping for a lovely cotton-like or more natural, breathable feeling fabric to wrap a new born baby in, and I loved the Shibori-like print of the fabric. However I received it this evening and unfortunately the fabric is a lightweight slightly stretchy spandex or spandex mix fabric. It feels like it would be soft to wear but would be quite unpleasant for longer wear as it would make you quite sweaty. The fabric is thin and I also wonder how it would fair after a wash or two. The pattern is printed on so it would most likely fade or warp when stretched. The 'receiving blanket' part is essentially a small sleeping bag with no bells or whistles, and the hat is exceptionally long - like an old fashioned sleeping cap. I wanted to love it as it looks sooo cute in the picture (especially wrapped around the babe), but I will be returning as it's not what I imagined and I wouldn't want to wrap a new born baby on this. I will be looking for similar in linen or cotton, and large wrap blanket rather than a pouch that you would need to place the baby in from the top.
