Fleur de Lys French Butter Crock, Light Blue

This product is very well made and made in USA. I placed 1.25 stick of softened butter in lid. Filled with cool water. Butter stayed in the lid until used. Aesthetically very nicely crafted. Not a cheap looking product. I highly recommend. Would make a great gift for any cook or baker.

It's even more beautiful in person! You can fit a whole stick of butter in the cup for those who want to know that detail. It has a weight to it although I'm careful with it I don't believe it will break easily. I absolutely love it

Low quality, slapped together piece of junk. The fleur de lys device was totally off center, numerous chunks of extra clay hanging off the inside of the bowl, the rim of the butter cup is not finished which is a health hazard. I mean, doesn't everyone know that chipped or unfinished stoneware harbors bacteria?? I took one look at this thing and sent it back immediately. I was going to give one extra star for being made in the USA, but they are just giving American products a bad name. Sloppily made, a 3rd grader could have made this in art class. Maybe some people appreciate those quaint imperfections, but I do not. My grandmother made a few ceramic/pottery pieces as a hobby years ago and everything I saw my hobbyist grandmother make was far more precise and well done than this "crock".

I really like the stone wear butter keeper. Just one small complaint....when you turn the portion of the dish over where the butter is stored, it does not sit level and it rocks. I can live with that, but thought you might want to check future orders before they ship!

Love, love this! I used to buy whipped butter. Now I just buy stick butter and put a n this and leave on my counter. Butter is soft enough for toast or biscuits every morning and taste better! I would buy one of these for everyone on my gift list!
