From the manufacturer A New Oxygen Sensor Impacts Your Car! A defective or sluggish oxygen sensor can cause a variety of issues, like decreased engine performance. Replacing a defective O2 sensor helps ensure your engine is constantly monitored and operating efficiently, while maximizing performance. The ideal air-fuel ratio of a gasoline engine is 14.7 parts air to 1 part fuel, which is known as complete combustion. The vehicle's engine control unit uses an O2 sensor to regulate air-fuel mixture by checking the oxygen content in a vehicleโs exhaust. This results in fuel savings. The catalytic converter is responsible for removing the harmful emissions from your vehicleโs exhaust. A defective oxygen sensor can cause your catalytic converter to fail prematurely. Replacing a catalytic converter can cost thousands of dollars, significantly more than most standard oxygen sensor replacements. If complete combustion is not maintained, other chemical compounds can form in large amounts. These include greenhouse gases, carbon monoxide and excess hydrocarbons. Replacing a defective oxygen sensor is the most effective way to control the combustion process and reduce emissions. Review: Best fit for Pathfinder 2014 R52 - This worked perfect for me. Error code P0130. OEM part was around 350 USD (1300 AED). I took a risk and bought this. My garage guys were not confident and they replaced this in the under hood side and the fault didn't go. Then I waited another year with this spare in my custody till I had a major work underside for the replacement of lower arm bushing and then I told my garage to replace the sensor under the engine.....Bingo it worked.... Review: Fast Delivery and Perfect Fit for X5 E70 N62N 4.8i - Arrived earlier than anticipated, despite being shipped from the US to the UAE. The quality is excellent and it fits perfectly for my X5 E70 N62N 4.8i.

A fit for my 1997 Maxima
Works great in my 1997 Maxima. The splice block that comes with it was simple to install after watching the instructional video. Saved several dollars over the identical sensor with a OEM-style pigtail already attached. Took about 20 minutes extra. Was it worth the extra work? It was for me, but YMMV. Depends if you have more time or money.

Solved the problem.
Installed both upstream because the scan showed code implied it may be what is causing the engine light to be on. Started first with the MAP sensor then these. The MAP sensor did not solve the problem and at first after installing these the light was still on, then driving the next day the engine light went off and stayed off problem solved. I heard it may take a few starts. Great product,
