I really like the LED and blacked out look on my bike!!
I really like the LED and blacked-out look on my bike. I got this not knowing how to set it up! lolI cleaned up the wires in the headlight housing to make sure I have enough room to work with.I attached the yellow wire to the low beam wire directly in the back of the light itself for 2 reasons; -I didn't wanna mess with the bike's wiring system and - I had no idea why and when it should be activated. so I made it to turn on and off with the low beam. (that's the lil tiny light). no instructions were included and I had to reach out to the seller;"You are so smart.many thanks for your headlight install feedback photo, You are correct. You : Would I be able to attach it to the yellow wire which is my low beam I believe!?Me : Yes .headlight red wire parking light can conncet your yellow low beam .The low beam when to work ,the parking light will work togetherThanks and best regards.Akmties"LOL !!! anyways, after that I noticed the gap around the new light. I had some extra weather-strip thingy in my garage so I used that to cover the opening. I think it looks K & no one has said anything negative yet! lol (it does a pretty good job to stop the water from getting in the housing)over all I am happy but I may look for more lights to mount lower on the bike. I can see the traffic signs from a mile away. I would like to see everything closer to the front end of my bike.Hope this help anyone who is interested. keep in mind I had no idea what I was doing and I've received a few compliments about how the bike looks with the blacked out LEDs.Stay Healthy & Stay SafeCheers

Best Value Option, but Could Have Been Better
There aren't a ton of options for these bikes: either you replace the headlight bucket with one of those cheap looking bolt on ones, spend $500+ on custom options for the bolt, or get this one - which is a $40 light with an adapter bracket. But overall, it's still the best option in my opinion. The light design itself has been around for a while and works great - I've had the same one on past bikes with good long term success. They're bright, especially with the high beams on, have a nice cutoff so don't blind oncoming traffic, and have a cool look to them day or night. There are a few places where these fall short however, which keeps them from being a slam dunk. There are no included instructions - while the installation isn't particularly hard, there are a couple details to figure out that would have been nice to know up front. The bracket must be attached to the housing first and the screws have to be TIGHT to keep the light steady. Then you can bolt the light to the bracket, and should probably use some locktite on these cap screws. Even with this, the light is not super secure and can be pushed up and down by hand. There is no way to "aim" these besides just rocking it in the housing and hoping it stays there. Finally, there's a pretty big gap between the light and the trim ring, and some kind of filler piece would have gone a long way to making this look better.

Bright but installation could be better
If they would have used a vertical instead of horizontal mount they could have used the factory adjustments but all in all not to bad

I understand why they don’t show it mounted in pics
Light looked great, went through the time and effort to disassemble the light on my bolt, took me a bit because the adjustment bracket is a pain due to build up from riding, but no biggie, it’s what it takes to replace it with a good looking, but still inexpensive light. Once I tried to put it in, I realized how impossible they made it, because the bracket that comes with it isn’t threaded, instead they give you a nylock, which needs a wrench to properly torque, but you can’t fit a wrench in there. Not overly worried, getting a flange lock nut for either side is cheap, shouldn’t be necessary, oh well. The next thing I noticed was that there’s no adjustment bracket or anything and the factory one isn’t usable, so this thing is completely free to move up and down as much as it wants. That’s when I got mixed feelings. So I then flipped the light over, and realized just how bad the gap is, And that was the tipping point. It looks awful. You might be able to hide it with some creative rubber gasket solution, and done right might mitigate the bouncing, but boy does it look bad.

Better than an LED bulb and Stock Light
Way better than both just an LED bulb swap and the stock light. This light has a nice beam projection pattern which I personally prefer over reflective mirror housings on motorcycles. The swap is simple all you use is the outer ring and everything else you can toss out. You do however have a small gap in the headlight, but it can be filled it with a rubber seal.
