Deck spindles on late 1990"s Simplicity Regent mower were vibrating and making a lot of noise (and self destructing vibration). Disassembled spindles. Shaft and bearings are standard B&S parts. As it should (used to) be. These are the right bearings for your shaft. One of my shafts was a little worn at the lower bearing. I chose to not replace the shaft and just swap out the bearing. It worked and made it quiet again. It will probably fail before the other one because I didn't replace the shaft. But the shaft is also a standard B&S part.Bearings are OEM B&S parts. As expected.

Spindle broke on FIL's Snapper mower deck. Sourced parts through Amazon, cheapest I could find. Worked great.

Bearing came with very little grease in them. I removed the black seal and packed it with grease. I did not re-install the deal as it was going in my mower spindle housing that has a grease zerk.

The price was great and was available on Amazon when my Simplicity dealer's price was higher. Some parts for my entire mower deck rebuild, were not available from my dealer but Amazon had them as in stock by a supplier!

I purchased this bearing and removed one of the seals . I wanted to be sure that the seal was a good one and that the bearing was well made , the seal locks into a well fitting grove securely protecting the bearings inside from contaminants . I did however work a little extra grease into the bearing before resealing it , I was not impressed with the small amount of grease found in the bearing itself . I am pleased with the quality of this bearing and I believe it will serve me well.
