great product - easy to install - looks well built
Very nice product - looks nice, is well made, and has individual port on/off buttons which means that you don't have to unplug and replug the device cable when needed. I am using this product to connect several USB devices (Bluray burner, scanner, label printer, mailing label printer) that all sit on my desk to my workstation computer which sits on the floor. By using the Hub, I only have to run one long cable from the Hub to the workstation. I then have short USB cables to the 4 devices. I purchased this Hub for future-proofing since it supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) devices as well as from the Hub to the workstation. I connected the Hub to a PCIe 2-port USB C 3.1 Gen 2 card. I did have to upgrade the driver for the PCIe card, but that's not really surprising since I purchased the PCIe card several years ago. I really like that the Hub has 3 USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports, 4 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (aka USB 3.0, 5 Gbps) ports, and 3 charging ports. The web page does not describe the data rate for the Host port, but I verified with support that the Host Port transfers at USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) speeds assuming that you connect a device that supports that speed. Just in case it's not obvious, you should only use the 3 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports with devices that support the 10 Gbps speed -- mostly newer external hard drives.

Almost perfect for my setup (dual monitor issues)
Bought for a one cable solution at my desk setup for my laptop (ASUS Zephyrus G14 w/ 2060, no TB). Handles USB great, have my mouse plugged into one port and a usb 3.0 hub with keyboard, webcam, DAC, etc on another no problem. PD pass through works great too with my 65w charger. Given that it advertised two 4k, I was hoping it'd work with my 3440x1440p monitor and 2560x1440p monitor no problem. Unfortunately, my monitor hooked up to DP would be stuck at 4:2:2 subchroma which is not ideal for monitor use. Tried DP with both monitors, whatever was plugged to dp would have the 4:2:2 issue, and the HDMI one was fine in both cases. Worth mentioning that both monitors are high refresh (144hz &165hz respectively) and with both plugged in the dock could only do 60hz each. Impressive for a single usb 3.1 Type C port, and definitely good enough for my needs at the price, but I'm a bit bummed that I still needed to compromise with the monitor.

Good features for the price. Customer support was helpful.
I've purchased 3 of these in the past 3 years since I have multiple "workstations" at different houses. Works well with my Dell XPS-13, but be sure to pay attention to the pictures and description to ensure it will fit your needs as it's "Triple Screen" modes will differ depending on your hardware (PC, MacBook, GPU settings, etc.). The most recent purchase I made had an issue where HDMI Port 2 stopped working. I confirmed this by swapping it out with another dongle (same product, just purchased at a different time). Seeing as how it was less than a year since purchasing, I reached out to customer support to see if they could help me...I honestly had low expectations and wasn't expecting a response since it's an overseas company (probably across the world in China) but they actually responded early the next morning! Customer support was helpful and had me follow some simple troubleshooting instructions to confirm the dongle was in-fact defective and so they sent me a brand new replacement which is working great. Very happy with this product and the customer support. I do agree with the other reviewers that after a full 8 hour work day, the dongle does feel warm to the touch but even my oldest dongle from 3 years ago is still working fine so I don't have an issue with it.

Amazing Choice!
I happened to catch this when it was on a sale, and am so happy I bought it. I am surprised it is only rated at a 4.1 as it surpasses other docking stations I have bought in the past. I plugged it into my laptop, plugged in three additional monitors, and it handle the load like a pro. Also has the ability to plug the dongle for my wireless mouse and keyboard into it with no lag or issues like I have run into with other docking stations. I also have a thumb drive plugged in and same, no lag or any other issues. With my laptop that has a USB type C power supply this dock charges it when plugged in. I did buy the one that comes with a power chord and would recommend that you do it too. Easy to setup as there is no software or anything else that needs to be downloaded. All you do is plug it in, plug everything else in and you are on your way. Highly recommend this product!

Compatibility with my Lenovo ThinkPad
Bought this one month ago. There are two serious problems: 1. Once the Type C cable is plugged to my laptop, the laptop keeps having "USB not working properly" notifications, although it seems working. 2. If I let my laptop go to sleep, once it wakes up, the monitors connected through the hub will turn on and then go dark (often, but not every time). I have to flip open the laptop to see desktop. But seems the dark-screen monitors are still connected though without display. Finally, each time I have to restart the computer to make the connected monitors work. Apparently, there're some inherent hardware and embedded software issues. Thought about returning it. But then found out the return window closed yesterday. Contact seller. They are to send me a replacement cable. Finger crossed. Update: The replacement has the similar problem (item #1 above). Got into contact with tech support and tried to pinpoint the cause with his help. As it turned out, in "Device Manager", under "Universal Serial Bus controllers", there is an error message "Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed". See attached screenshot. My guess is that if you are using this hub as all-in-one through the type C port (like for Mac or tablets), you are fine. But if your laptop has a separate power input other the type C ports, like my Lenovo, there might be full-compatibility issue. It really depends on your laptop's brand.

AMAZING DOCKING STATION
I did have a few issues when I first started working with the docking station. The the plug that I put in the docking station instead of my computer to charge it wasnโt working but once I realized that it needed to be plugged in on the opposite side, everything has been working wonderful. I work from home and I plug into monitors as well as my laptop into the station plus other items like my headset and keyboard and it keeps everything humming! The other things that I really love about it is that you donโt need any software to use it like some other docking stations. Since I use it for work, I canโt have any software installed for anything that isnโt installed on my computer.

Compact and good build quality
Updating review after further investigation of the buggy behavior I experienced. The unit has high build quality. The braid-wrapped cable is robust and stiff which makes me think it's not going to fray easily. It's also compact and simple, your HDMI cable is going to be more cumbersome by itself. Video output has zero lag and no noticeable CPU impact (this is the idea behind DisplayPort over USB/Thunderbolt; it doesn't impact performance because it's rerouting the built-in graphics chip's output rather than acting as another graphics chip like adapters built for USB 2.0 and 3.0 type A). Overall this is a great value for the price. On the other hand, I have experienced issues on a Lenovo Yoga 730. When configuring the output from the adapter as a 2nd display, the Windows shell wedges itself (can't start new processes, start menu won't come up, etc. but you can very slowly interact with apps that are already running and in focus), and the bottom of both displays flickers (looks like a strobing task bar). However, if configured as a mirrored display (or only displaying video on the external monitor) everything works fine. This implies a software issue, and since this adapter has no software (it's handled entirely by the system's already existing graphics driver), it has to be a bug in the Intel 620 graphics driver or in Windows 10 (desktop window manager or something). Lenovo customized the graphics driver for this system and it's 5 months older than Intel's version, but Intel won't allow installation of their base version ("This driver is not compatible with this hardware, contact your computer manufacturer"). I'm holding out until Lenovo/Intel/Microsoft release more patches and will update this review if it changes. In the meantime I'm using the adapter in single display mode to utilize the larger external display when at my desk. Configuration: Lenovo Yoga 730 (USB-C 3.1/Thunderbolt 3 ports) with latest available drivers and firmware as of June 14 2018. Windows 10 1803 17134.112 (2018 Creators Update).

Very good product
It is a very good product and works perfectly fine with new MacBook Pro M1 and my old Dell monitor. No issues at all. It would be better if the device has a USB C slot.

It worked, which is all I needed it to do
I will note that you need to download a driver from their website to get this to work, but once that was installed the monitors sprung to life and it has done exactly what it said it would do. I could continue typing how it changed my life or some nonsense but all you really want to know is if it is worth purchasing right? Yes, it does the job it says it will do and it was fairly simple to get the driver and install it. So yes, itโs worth purchasing.

Expensive but worth it
It's an expensive product, but solves the problems it is meant to. Only purchase if you want to extend to 2 monitors, otherwise there are cheaper alternatives. Working reliably after~1 year of use. Only trouble i had was, my mouse laggs when connected to the hub.
