Misleading: NOT rechargeable
First thing is first. This does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. If you plug the included USB cord into a power source the LED light below it will shine bright green which pretty much eliminates that usage case. I have rechargeable AAA batteries and that is what we will be using. There is a second place for a large rechargable battery, possibly one of those types used in some of the bright tactical flashlights. No instructions are included.Other than all that, this is exactly what I wanted, a small, portable turn table to put things like food plates on in order to give them a slow spin on video (vlogging). It seems perfect for that.

Ehhh, it turns.
Unfortunately I will be returning this one. There isn't inherently anything really wrong with it, except that the spinning action is not very smooth for light items, but it won't meet my needs for two reasons.Due to the fact that the device is soooooo light weight, it takes more force to push the buttons to change speed or direction than it takes to slide the turntable away from you, so adjusting it means you typically have to readjust the camera or the the item on the turntable. And as I said earlier, the rotation is jerky if you have a light weight item in the turntable (sometimes causing the item to fall over if it has a touchy balance point). Heavier items do fine, but since I need it to photograph models and small items that doesn't work so well for me.So I will be returning this one and paying for a higher priced option with a remote control. Hopefully having a higher price will translate to a smooth rotation. There are a few nice things about this device though, the different options for the top are very nice, especially the mirrored option for minis. It also has a few ways to power the device, so you can find the best option for your need. I tried both USB and batteries, both were jerky. I expected them to be the same, but I wanted to try. Also, the price is pretty nice. So if your goal is to display something in a store or something other than photography it may be a great option.

False advertising
This little bitty thing is NOT worth the money. It looks way bigger on the picture but when it gets to you it's small as ever. I'm definitely returning because of size and the money spent. This thing should have been $10 if you ask me. If that!

Battery Eater. OK, but forget using batteries.
Its not terrible, it does ok. I put 3 AA batteries in it and they died after about 15 minutes and kept shutting off, and I didn't know what was going on, thought it was defective. Its only useable if you plug it into a USB power source. The instructions are just bad. But it does what its supposed to and can't complain about that.

Very goo value
Very good turntable for product video/pictures
T**.
it is not a stable
Put on a filled 700ml glass bottle and when it spins it shakes a bit. It doesn't work to video record the object as it shakes and the liquid within the bottle moves a lot. It's like if it can't stand the weight or not enough power to spin. Wasted money.
