These were initially purchased to assist my walking until post spinal decompression surgery. I’ve been putting off buying trekking poles for years because, frankly, I like gear that lasts, and that necessitates buying expensive stuff. My breaking point was the high pain level when walking even across the room. I’m looking forward to soon use these for hiking. In the meantime, they’ve seen a couple hundred miles over the past few months. I did add a pair of Leki Rubber Tips because the stock plastic ones are very slick on solid surfaces. Those have been very nice in that they reduce shocks felt in the hands and wrists. I’ll likely remove them in favor of the tungsten tips that remain on underneath the rubber caps.

Great lightweight hiking poles. Look really good. Pack away great. Couple of things. Baskets would be better to be removable. They aren’t. Tips quite hard to swap out. Set length poles. Something to be aware of. Esp if you plan on using these at the end of the day for a tent. Otherwise, they are light and effective for hiking. And are top quality.
