Chocolate Dreams (1) (Candy Fairies)

Bought as a gift for my child to continue the series.

Our 6yr old daughter loves reading this series.

The item was listed as a New item, and it was received with a bent cover and yellow pages that smelled. It clearly was a used book.

I am reading this with my 7-year old granddaughter. She loves the story (and so do I)!

My daughter and I are so in love with this book and can’t wait to read the next one! My daughter didn’t want it to end and chose not to have me read the last chapter. She is five and I read chapter books to her out loud. I think this is a great introduction for chapter books for new readers and a book that a new reader would be able to read on their own.Story was cute with 5 fairy friends living in a magic candy world. A problem arises when they can’t find the chocolate eggs!Cute not scary or catty which is great for my kiddo!

May daughter is 6 and in First grade. She loves this book series. I purchased the first two for her and she read them in 2 days. I hope to get her the rest of the series. In the AR system it is listed as a third grade reader, but it was quite easy for her. She is advanced for her age, however I would say any fairy loving girl in 2-3 grade can probably read them independently. First graders may need a bit of parental help if they are not reading above grade level. I struggle to find books at her reading level that are also within her maturity level and this was perfect.

My 6 year old daughter loved this book. It's fun and exciting, a fantasy world made of candy. There is a "bad guy" but he is not too scary, and the way they defeat him is not violent but spun in a positive "outsmarting" way. My daughter had wonderful dreams about the Candy Kingdom after we started reading this book and can't wait to read the next one.
