Made a discontinued tub thermostat replacement tube with this
Repaired a hot springs heater thermostat tube that had been discontinued using this. The old one (from 1988) has finally eroded through and started to leak. Cut to length, pinched one end & soldered the pinched end. Used a propane torch to heat up & remove the threaded nut from the old one & soldered it on to the open end of the piece I cut. It's holding up wl.

Thin but gets the job done
Cheap copper tubing. Works fine as long as you bend it carefully. If you need to make a tighter bend, use a bending spring so that it doesn't kink. Bending springs are inexpensive.

Thin wall
Much thinner wall than what I was replacing due to kinks. I returned it.

Pipe kinks
This would be great for a straight run fir the money.Attempted to bend with pipe bender for brake lines and still kinks.Bought rubber grill line at much cheaper price as line is in clear sight

Easy to bend
Did a great job of connecting the propane tanks at the back of my van, to the furnace near the front. This pipe is soft enough to bend really easily around corners.
