Otterbox Cell Phone Case for S4 Mini - Retail Packaging - Lilac

This is my third phone case after trying to use decorative phone cases that just ended up being cheap and breaking or giving my phone poor protection. This phone case has lasted several months so far and is very durable and high quality. I don't go around dropping or abusing my phone much, so can't speak to how well the case would protect it if I did, but it works well for the average use of a phone! The screen protector that comes attached to the case is not a good one for me since it's so thick and bounces up and down against the screen under it as I use it, so I just left on my phone's previous screen protector and easily peeled the the case screen off of the case. It works much better for me that way. I think main purpose of the screen that comes attached to the case is to help water-proof the phone somewhat.

I admit, I didn't expect to be so happy with this item. Having tried the original Otter cases, which I found unwieldy and poorly designed, I was leery. But this is great. I haven't bothered with the belt clip, but the rest is wonderful. The screen cover takes a bit of getting used to - I find myself using my nails to tap numbers and text as much as my finger pads - but it's been working fine.I would like it if the site itself listed another spot where I could buy another screen cover/protector, just in case. But I expect I can hunt one up easily enough!

Great case. I order the wrong case so haven't had it on my cell. However it has held up to being ran over by the floor scrubber. Which is about 350 lbs. However there was no phone in it. I forgot to return it so kids are using it as play toy.

I have dropped my phone numerous times accidentally over a year at work in rugged conditions and on concrete. No damage to my phone at all! Best cover yet! Doesn't overheat your phone either! I had to buy a new cover because i used a harsh chemical which ate the rubber coating.

Great product! I've had the same phone in this case for 2 years. I just bought a new case identical to my first one ONLY because my old one's protective screen was very scratch. But my phone underneath was still in mint condition. The only negative thing I found in two years is that a drop of water can get under the protective screen by way of the menu button or ear speaker because those areas are not sealed tight. I would have to take the case apart and wipe the water droplet off or the touch screen wouldn't function correctly. Other than that this product was worth what I paid for it the first time from the retail phone store. (I paid a quarter of that price for my new one on Amazon though)

The weakness of this type case is not the case itself, that is great and protects my phone well. The difficulty is the belt attachment. This one broke in the hinge, the previous one had the "paddle" itself snap in two. I retained the phone wrap portion and now slide it into a larger leather case that has belt loops.

Otterbox is very strong, sturdy product for cell phone cases. I bought this case for my 80 year olds samsung mini 3 phone. It fit perfect. She can be clumsy and this case protects the phone. The price was great as well, they usually cost about $50.00.

This phone case is great. I'm one of those idiots who drops my phone a lot and this is the perfect case for a klutz like me. Phones go everywhere with you and get dirty easily, so definitely get the darkest phone case color you can-it won't show dirt as fast.
