Need more sharpness
It s solid and durable. But need to sharp the blade. Bit heavy for hikers.

Arrived on time
The product looks nice, but unfortunately it is not sharp, and don't have a protection cover. once it is sharp it will be dangerous to keep it in the car or in the storage area. That's why I give it 4 stars.

Great for the price but needs sharpening
Worked great for camping but I needed to take it somewhere to get sharpened because it wasn't done from the factory. No big deal, only costs $8 and it worked great for my camping trip. Pro tip I read on youtube: An easier way to split those logs is use a hatchet and a 3lb mini sledge hammer. I just position the hatchet where I want the split and tap it in with the hammer. Once it is started it doesn't take much pounding. That way you have precision sizes you want, it's safer than holding the log while get that first hit if it wasn't cut straight and you don't run the risk of it slipping off and hitting a boot or shin.
