Thought my uca ball joints were bad, they aren't but now I have backupz

according to SPC...all upper control arms now come with this "upgraded" ball joint....so "upgraded" is not used in their description any more...

These are the new redesign ones no zero fitting needed. So far so good.

Old ones wore out prematurely after 30-40k miles of daily driver use. These replacements do NOT include the zerk fittings, I was sent the "sealed" version but it appears you can add them.

I've got the old style ball joints installed with the arms on my Nissan Frontier. They were worn and knocking/popping badly after 50k miles of mild off-road/around town potholes. These new joints look identical except for the zerk fitting so it can be greased regularly. The install was easy enough with proper tools and a jack. Once installed I gave them 8-10 shots of grease and hit the road, no more noise and road manners are improved, hard to notice how bad it had got until repaired. Although I'm somewhat disappointed that these needed replacing in the first place I'll admit SPC noticed this and reengineered a better joint rather than just forcing us to buy whole new arms.I've included one photo of the new joints installed and a photo of the old ones removed for comparison.

these lasted less than 6 month and zero off road use and looks like my review will not show up and the company that sells them will not warranty
