Cut very well

Best side cutters made - period. They’re expensive- yes, but my first pair were bought back in the early 1980’s. They have a few notches in the blades now (which is why I bought a replacement pair). The notches were my fault for trying to cut something too hard/wide - only because they’re good enough to make you think they might cut it... I’ll keep the old pair - as they’d still OK for tougher jobs - but these new ones will be used for precision..

I am an aircraft electrician and as such have been using this for everything from zip ties to coax to cutting lacing tape to trimming fine shielding. It has done an excellent job thus far. I do wish it was about an inch (25mm) longer and just a little heavier duty. Also, the back of the jaws have sharp corners and can mark insulation if you roll them as you cut. I radiused those corners to prevent accidental wire damage. I will be buying this brand again. Edit... these were $27 in July of 2019... how times have changed.
