KitchenAid 5Kek1222 Classic Water Kettle, 1. 25 Litre, White

I love KitchenAid products and this is my second kettle after 8 years use of the last one.

Beautiful stylish little kettle. More expensive than most but seems to be well made and good quality. Pours well.

Great kettle, boils quickly.

Nice stylish chunky design. Easy to fill through the short wide spout, but then you have to take the lid off to check the water level. Style over substance, should have sent it back really.

Bought this kettle for it compact size, its cool look, its metal interior and its claim ease of use. Unfortuantely I had to return it twice and gave up on it. The enamel just started to flake off around the top twice. Exactly the same position. Presume this has some manufacturing fault reason in relation to the enamel affixing Would have kept it if it did not do this flaking thing even though for my 80 mother this kettle was not easy to use. The lack of a water level guide outside or easy to see inside guide meant she got confused about how much water was in the kettle. Wonder if Kitchen Aid knows of the enamel fault and is off loading via Amazon because price wise having regarding to the cost of Kitchen aid stuff generally this kettle is relatively cheap. Got a Delonghi instead which at the moment I am in love with,
