Does not block signals when closed. It is waterproof but expensive given the fact it does not actually fulfil it's purpose. Other issues with quality are: strap for the clip has already started to split after 1 adjustment, and one of the side press studs will not open.

I was unsure what to expect when I ordered this bag, but to my great surprise, it is so much more than I expected. My 17-inch HP fits with room to spare. It is lightweight and yet feels substantial. The protection from RF and potential EMPs is the icing on top.

Great finish and quality. It’s not cheap but then again nothing of real quality ever is. The bag works exactly as advertised. with respect to not leaking any signals out, it has endured several plane rides and a torrential downpour already and has been perfect, no water ingress and good protection for the contents without any damage or visible wear.

The bag has a magnet built into the fabric and if you don't pay attention you WILL demafntize the HARD drive and lose everything back to zero. Trust me :) Loved the design not the resulrs
