I bought this REM Air System Replacement air Mattress Hose when my Select Comfort (Sleep Number) pump died and I replaced it with a REM Air Systems pump. I looked at my old OEM hose and it had white spots inside so I figured it was time to replace the hose also. This REM hose works fine with the REM pump, and it connects to the Sleep Number mattress connector also. No problems with this hose and now I should be good for another decade. I bought my Sleep Number mattress system in 1990 and the air bags are fine. But I am now on my 3rd pump -- the original OEM Select Comfort pump, 15 years later it broke so I bought a replacement Sleep Number pump, and now I am using a REM pump. Scott PS the mattress company changed names. They used to be called "Select Comfort" when I originally bought my dual-bag mattress system in 1990, but now they are called "Sleep Number". Regardless, this REM hose and the REM pump work with my 35 year old Select Comfort mattresses. Before I bought the REM pump, I called several local Sleep Number stores (since the mattress was flat and my wife said, "we need a new mattress now!!!"). But none of the brick-and-mortar stores have replacement pumps in-stock. So now I am a happy REM customer.

We have an old (4000 Model) Sleep Number bed in a spare room in the basement. I absolutely love it, but I'm not about to spend $1,500 to replace an extra bed. When the mattress started leaking, and the Sleep Number website said it didn't have replacement parts for my model, I thought I was going to lose my secret napping spot. When I found this hose, I wasn't sure what to think. From the picture, it was tough to tell if the hose was made out of the thick, heavey-duty material that the original hoses were made from. It definitely is made out of heavy duty material. I'm a guy who uses the spare room in my basement for a secret napping spot instead of a place to use a treadmill. So, I'm not exactly a featherweight. This hose can handle my weight, though. It's definitely worth every penny! It fit perfectly, and performs like a dream!

Worked great on our sleep number

Works great. Perfect fit for old style beds. Newer beds have two different hose lengths. One side is about 4 feet. The other approximately 8 feet long. CONS Stinks. These off-gas volatiles from the plastic. May have to replace due to the smell. If you are sensitive to plastic odors, steer away from these.

We had a 20-year-old air select air bed that needed one side of a queen size replaced and new pump and we had remote controls and this we were provided we purchased these this manufacturers replacement pump which replaced it better than before and hardwired controls were which were famously and the new mattress side we replaced works perfectly everything fit perfectly they provided us all of the accessories required and everything we are extremely pleased with our purchase

It has the worst plastic smell and it isn’t going away. My bedroom reeks of the plastic stench. It’s probably not good to inhale it for at least 8 hours a night.
