Sturdy, well made and designed - and made by blind rural women
I ordered two of these. I received a call from the proprietor (owner of the company/firm) who explained the nature of the product and how and who makes them (see title of review).Was surprised to see the solid build quality. The weaving of the waste paper was also even (and not shabby).They offer it in a number of other designs, I am told. I would definitely like to order more products from this Paperus.

A very pretty yet sturdy waste paper basket
I really love this product as its such a quirky alternative to the normal waste paper baskets that you see. It is made completely of recycled paper and you can have it customised to your personal needs. It is also unique as it is made completely by hand. I really love it and will definitely be purchasing more products from this supplier.I also have to add that the customer service I received from the seller was second to none. First he called me to check that I was ordering the correct size and then offered me custom made alternatives. He also personally delivered the product to my door! It has been a very long time since I have received such excellent customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Exceeds Expectations!
I bought three identical Waste paper baskets from Paperus, because am personally motivated to reduce the overall presence of plastic in my home and life. I did not expect them to be so nice looking ! They look finished, quirky and are quite sturdy too.User Tip: There is a slight smell of Fevicol (this does not bother me as I quite like that smell!) but upon receiving it, it is a good idea to leave them in bright sunshine all day, the smell is quite reduced after that!
