Works same as original
I have a ET300. Wanted to add another dog so I ordered this collar. It is easy to convert the ET300 to a 2 dog transmitter if you follow instructions in the manual (just make sure the transmitter is set to 0 an M which is not mentioned in the manual). New receiver collar was easy to pair with the transmitter. Only thing I will mention is there is no need to purchase a splitter for your charger since one came with this collar (description does not mention that splitter is included).

Great product
We have been using educator for a couple of years now, we got an extra one because my dog lost his, the problem was that the collar was cut too short and then dog neck grew

Great collar. Needs a manual. Touch to transmitter to power off/on and pair.
Ecollars are the best. Note that although I ordered this product, a PE-090, I received an RX-090. I don't know what the difference is. There is no power button on this unit and the unit did not come with a manual. To power off and on, touch the red spot on the receiver to the red (or in the case of a ET-088, black) spot on the transmitter (controller). Watch for the light on the receiver to turn red or green. To pair, hold the spots together for 6-7 seconds and the receiver will blink green. Then press the black, then red buttons concurrently on the transmitter.

most advanced collar i've found
wanted to give this a 5. but alas, one of the collars gave me trouble down the road.got these to help train lap dogs the boundary lines. collar worked on a 7lb and a 12 lb dog just fine. there is a software program to help set up the many functions. there are good ways to do this and bad ways to do this. i looked into alot of different schools of thought before i went with this. i liked the michael ellis/ leerburg approach best. they have videos that are super useful. and the approach works well with the low instensity available on this collar. i think i worked with level 4 and 6 mainly. i shocked myself with level 99 and it felt like i got punched in the face. YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK ANYWHERE NEAR THIS LEVEL WITH A DOG. you want to start at zero and slowly dial it up till the dog perks his ears. this is your working level. educate yourself. you can reinforce fear responses OR you can figure out how to communicate with your animal. that is up to you. but EXPECT TO PUT SOME WORK IN ON HOW TO LEARN BEST PRACTICES BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROPER AND EFFECTIVE WAY TO UTILIZE E-COLLARS.i had bought 2 of these collars and after about a year or so, i kept having problems with either the charging function or bad batteries on one of the units. i was outside of warranty and although i was pretty annoyed with the one collar that i couldnt get to work right. one of my pups only needed to have the collar on. this was quite some time ago, though. and i havent used them in years.i would definitely recommend these. i think the reason i had the trouble i had was we would go months without using them and i think the batteries dropped charge. although i did have trouble with sevaeral replacement batteries, the bad collar had been used and served its purpose. i have no regrets, i dont know where collars are now, but having the tone, vibrate and zap function on a dedicated button and 0-100 dial of intensity was perfect. older and cheaper ones, have too high a zap intensity at their default values.

For 2nd Dog Add On!
Programmed with Educator ET-300 for 2nd dog. Followed the included instructions along with a youtube lookup due to not making final beeping connection. The key to programming the 2nd receiver is to turn down the stimulation to zero(0) when pairing. It's only been a couple of days but so far, so good!

The least painful training tool I’ve ever used!
The media could not be loaded. I love having a second collar so that while one is charging, I can use the other! Definitely recommend this brand. The settings on the remote for it are customizable and the stimulation on this collar is very gentle! I’ve tried it on myself. It ranges from not being able to feel, to feeling like the static of clothes without fabric softener, to a small (and very quick!) pinch. As far as training: this is the least painful collar I’ve ever used. It surprises a dog, but I don’t see this ever giving a neck injury as it’s not going to pull like any other collar and a leash. When trained right with it (and yes, there are several ways to train bad with it) one thing it can do is get the dog to run to you for safety instead of, say, out in the busy street! The surprise (or “shock”) the dog feels is uncomfortable at first but this tool can be a lifesaver. My dog and I have a closer bond than ever before, thanks to these collars! The doggie zoomies are rewarding for both of us now that I know she can run in a safe circle around me.Video: shows offleash fun you can train with treats thanks to previous ECollar training! The dog is not phased or in pain because of the collar. She is actually looking forward to the hula hoop jump!

Stopped working after 2 months
Dog #1 collar is years old and still works. This new collar (replacing a lost collar for dog #2) doesn’t make the tone every time you hit the button and now it almost never works.
