Moors & Tors: Classic Walks on the Upland Moors of the Peak District (Peak District Top 10 Walks)

Would highly recommend anybody who's walking in the Peak District to own the set of these books.OS map always recommended, but books give a great insight in to the walks, with a bit of history.I have now walked them all from all these books, and you can easily do two walks in a day from these guides (quick move of he car to next start point). I have walked many of them just with the book, as directions are very clear to each walk, taken me to places I have never walked before in the area. The walks are fairly short but very enjoyable each one.

I am writing this review have completed all the walks in this book. The 10 walks range from 3.75-6.5 miles. Each walk has 1:50000 OS mapping. The photography is good and directions generally clear. The walks are spread throughout the Peak District. Being fairly short, I would often combine a walk from this book with another walk to make up a satisfactory distance! I like the inside flap which helps you to keep your place in the book.
