You can reheat in the microwave but I wouldn’t recommend “cooking” in them. They may crack if heated too long I’m the microwave.

Q: would you serve a small green salad in these for a baby shower?

Yes, but you would need to chop it up fairly small. You ould serve a orzo salad, quinoa salad, cole slaw or small macaroni salad in this size. For a green salad I would recommend going up a size.
