I was skeptical at first, but it was worth a shot
I spent a lot of time cleaning out and enclosing a crawl space about 20'x40' including burying wire mesh to keep animals out, I was so proud. A year later I looked in the crawl space and mice had moved in. Poop everywhere and they made homes in my insulation, I was not happy at all. So I read a ton of reviews on products to keep the mice out and settled on this with the attitude that it was worth a shot. After cleaning it out again, I ran extension cords along one side of the crawl space and mounted these about 2ft off the ground, and I used 3 of the repellers. First off, we have a dog and a cat and neither were bothered when we plugged them in. It has been a year now, and I looked back in, and happily, I can say they are working. No mice poop! I just checked this afternoon and am really happy, except I paid $10 more than what they are now, but hey, it worked and that is really all I cared about.

DO NOT BUY
I got these in my mail on July 25th and installed them like they state you should. Well, I had to rewrite my review. I cleaned up the mouse turds on my kitchen counter AGAIN. This is Aug 16th. I thought I got rid of the mouse, but obviously I did not. I found mouse turds right UNDER this pest repellent. I cleaned it up again, only to find more mouse turds in the same area. I knocked down the spider webs I saw, and found more. I thought okay, maybe I missed those. So I got the broom and brushed it all over the ceilings in my home. Did not see any for a couple of days and looked again after that and found spider webs. I got to thinking about this product. It states that ultrasonic can not go through walls and do not put repellents behind anything. Which I did not and I put one in every room including the bathroom. How is it suppose to keep mice and spiders out if this thing does not go through walls or cabinet doors? I found mice turds in my cabinets that are close to the floor. I had cleaned these cabinets BEFORE I plugged in these things. So that tells me that it does not keep them out, but suppose to chase them out once they are in? I got this because I did not want bugs and mice to come in PERIOD. I am not going to wait 9 more days which would make it 4 weeks and then have them tell me I can't get my money back. I do not see how ANYONE on here can say they work. Are they paid to say that? A mouse is a mouse same for spiders no matter where you live and should be working for everyone.

THESE DO WORK !!
WOW, I would not have believed this had I not seen it with my own eyes. I plugged one of these in my garage. Within an hour I had rats wandering around my yard. They won't go back in the garage. GOOD , TIME TO MOVE OUT YOU RASCALS! I rigged one up out on my patio with an extention cord protected from rain. AND I'm going to put one with an extention cord and place it under my car. I drive a Subaru Forester. It's a great vehicle and I live it ! BUT... rats found it a few months ago and have chewed wiring THREE TIMES. First it was my ignition , the the fuel pump wiring and then an entire bundle of wires under the fuse box.Ok, so that's pretty bad. ... and yet I still can't kill them. Call me crazy. I've had plenty of opportunities to kill them. I simply don't believe in it. Yes, I'm one of those people who catch and release flies and spiders that get in the house .Maybe it's more of a challenge, too. I mean , sure, we can kill everything. .. or we can learn to coexist. If only we could apply that thinking to people. Woops, starting to preach. .. . So, anyway. .. THESE WORK. . BUY THEM !! :) 🐀

Mice and bugs ignored this -- UPDATE: maybe useful as a deterrent
I bought these because I previously had a similar ultrasonic repeller that got rid of a squirrel in an attic. I thought things were going well because we hadn't heard any pitter-patter in our basement's drop ceiling. (We took extension cords and made sure to put them up *in* the ceiling.) In our kitchen, we had one in the wall where they come up from the basement and one in an outlet above the counter. The one on the counter clearly didn't bother the occasional moth, spider, or an infestation of fruit flies, but I hadn't really bought it for them.Well, this week a plate was left on the counter overnight LESS THAN 2 FEET from the device and was covered in mouse poop by morning. This mouse or mice probably passed by at least 3 of these things and hung out by one having a snack.Don't bother.UPDATE:This probably doesn't work if you have a current mouse/mice snug in your house. If they are happy, they seem to be able to just tolerate it. However, after catching our little visitor in a trap, this was the first winter that I don't think we had any mice in the house. We had left the one in the basement ceiling (around where we think they must be coming in) mainly because it wasn't worth the hassle to pull it out. Now, we may have just been really lucky this year or just not observant to them being there, but maybe these devices are enough to make them choose somewhere else to go. In summary, I don't think established mice will leave but you might deter mice from moving in.

Pest Repellers work great and are very quiet
Overall, the Bristarboy Ultrasonic Pest Repellers seem to work great. Before we ordered them, we found mouse droppings in a number of places in our home. Since installing the Bristarboy Pest Repellers, we have not found droppings in those places or anywhere else.Another important feature of this product is that it is very quiet. We have the Pest Repellers set to a fairly high setting and do not hear any noise. But it seems like the mice sure hear them! So, we have no critiques. The only reason for 4, rather than 5 stars, is that I cannot be 100% sure that the Pest Repellers caused the mice to leave. It is spring time, so the weather change where we live may be a factor. But, based on what I am able to deduce, I highly recommend this product. Give it a try!
