When researching clear shower curtains, there aren't too many stipulations. It needs to be clear, and it needs to be a shower curtain. That's about it. So there is a three mil option or an eight mil option, bigger is always better, right? So of course I got the 8 mil figuring It would be better. The shower curtains can withstand gunfire up to a .223 round. They will stand up on their own and defend you from the next nuclear bomb. Next time there is a tornado warning I'm going to gather my children and seek shelter under this curtain. We will be trying them on 50 cal and tank cannons this weekend, so I will update my review after that.It is definitely 8 mil as described, and if that is what you need, do purchase this. However if you are not sure what you need, I can assure you you do not need 8 mil. They're a bit of a pain in the butt because they stand up on their own and they are very stiff, so they are constantly coming off of the shower curtain hooks.Next time I will purchase the thinner curtain.

I bought this to put up on my chicken run to block the rain and wind. It’s a perfect fit, does the job well, and should hold up for use next year too. As an added bonus, the girls can see out and I can see in to do head counts!

I didn't want to spend an arm & a leg for something that would basically be hidden behind my fabric shower curtain. This liner is perfect & didn't come with a chemical smell like most plastic products do.

Product is misleading. The description mentioned metal garments but in my picture you can clearly see this is not the case. This is thin and light weight with magnets on the bottom but that's about it.

Bought this shower curtain liner to go under the fabric shower curtain. It's the thick and love that it is clear. It it seems nice enough for now, features PEVA a non-chlorinated vinyl, as well as, being mildew resistant. So, not only does it resist mildew but does without having the harsh chemicals being released. One of them is the think reinforced hem along the top, so you do not have to worry about those inconvenient tears, that usually happens with other shower curtain liners. It also has the weights on them in the bottom that keeps the curtain down while you are taking a shower. You don't have to worry about it blowing up or moving around when the air conditioner or heat comes on. The weights in the bottom keeps it in place it's great.It's easy to keep clean as well. I found it very easy to put up and expect it to be just as easy to take down again. You won't regret this purchase!

2 of the 3 shower curtain liners I ordered were in good condition. The 3rd liner wrapping was ruined on one corner. It looked almost like it had been chewed. Therefore, when I opened the liner up, there were about 6+places where I had to use tape to cover the holes. Normally I would’ve returned the ruined item; however, I needed the liner for my classroom.
