It works with our invisible fence.
When it came in i put the batteries in it and test it on the perimeter, it did not beep so re positioned the battery. It works great our dog only needs to hear the beep and he will stop. I watched him approach the perimeter, as soon as it beeped he stooped. He has been using it everyday with no problems.

Progressive Correction Collar Allows Run-throughs, then failed altogether after 3 months
I'm very disappointed. The Progressive Correction model worked OK for about 4 weeks until my Labrador discovered he could move through the fence a lot faster than the collar could ramp up to an effective correction level. It's useless for any other than somewhat timid dogs. One of my less rambunctious dogs will get this collar. I've ordered a stronger fixed-correction collar and will have to retrain the Labrador.Update 10/12/15: Collar stopped working altogether after 3 months. Called Perimeter Technologies and they promptly replaced it with no hassle. Replacement works.Update 6/6/2017: The replacement collar Perimeter provided under the one-year warranty has now failed totally. This is a highly unreliable product. The original Invisible Fence(TM) collar these were supposed to replace lasted 15 years. In going back through my records, I discovered that it was covered by a Lifetime Warranty (I don't know if they still offer that). My Invisible Fence dealer replaced the failed collar at no charge - this after 17 years. My advice to anyone tempted to buy these way less expensive replacements is to think about the expense of replacing them every year or two and the danger to your pet between the time they fail and when you discover the failure. I know the IF brand products are grotesquely expensive to purchase, but the annual cost is much lower and you can find used collars on auction sites for less.I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star.

Great, with one complaint
The collar works great. It gives a warning beep instead of just zapping the dog, which we like. It also has the low battery indicator light which is good. Our only complaint is that every now and then it just beeps for no apparent reason. We may be in the house or no where near the fence and it will give off a warning beep which freaks the dog out because he doesn't know what he's doing wrong.

so good! The audible beeps work
Moved into a home with an existing invisible fence. The fence had not been used in a few years and previous owner didnt leave a collar. Instead of shelling out 330.00 for a new one from the I. F. company, i thought i would try this one out.So far, so good! The audible beeps work, I know the dog has gotten a shock as well. Save some cash and buy this collar!

One good one, one not
I bought two of these. One works great, loud beeps, consistent correction for the dog. The other is weak and Intermittent. Thankfully, I have one well-trained dog that can use the weak collar, but it’s not ideal.I checked batteries in both, it’s just one collar is weak compared to the other.
