Nemesis (An FBI Thriller) Review: Fabulous read - highly recommen it! - Every book that Catherine Coulter writes is pure magic. My love of her books goes back more than 15 years and I would never miss one. Her books featuring hunky Dillon Savich and feisty Lacey Sherlock, a husband and wife team who are both FBI Special Agents, are always exciting, with loads of drama and thrills and plots that never leave the reader wanting. These two characters are two of the most capable and likeable characters in any book in the thriller and suspense genre available in the market today. This book, Coulter's latest, Nemesis, has got to be her best to date, hands down, no contest. While waiting in line to clear the security check point at JFK airport in New York City Sherlock confronts a terrorist who is ready to toss a hand grenade into the crowd. From that instant she is working terrorist plots that spanning the globe from Boston to New York, to Washington, DC and to the United Kingdom. Sherlock becomes as big and important a target for the terrorists as the cathedral bombings they have planned in NY and the UK. While Sherlock has her hands full avoiding bullets and bombs up in the Northeast, Dillon is busy down in Virginia investigating supernatural killings that are connected to weird phenomena and Wicca and they are now trying to murder him, too. Thank goodness he is a mental giant himself and can fight in any realm. The two plots intertwine and twist and turn and meander in unexpected directions with so much plotting and fast action and snappy dialogue that it keeps you riveted to your seat. You won't be able to help yourself by rushing to the end and then you will want to start reading it all over again. This is a GREAT book. Review: Very good - I mostly enjoyed the book, but you keep putting more and more psychic warfare in your books. That makes me uncomfortable, because as I know there are powers of good and evil in the world. I feel you being drawn into writing more and about things that ordinary people really shouldn't mess with. You can get in over your head unless you are very well grounded in Christianity and maybe then. To you, you are writing a great thriller, but I feel you're getting into deep. I read my Bible daily so I know there's mysticism there, not all of it is good. I know many people can be drawn in for fun,or just to see, but sometimes Satan grabs hold of you and won't let go with out a long hard fight. For your sake and the sake of your readers, you really need to keep that area weaker in your writings unless you really want those evil powers dominating you.

Thrill a minute
This was the first one of Coulter's FBI series that I read, and it was a thrill a minute. Muslim terrorists. Wiccan. Jetsetters and FBI agents. Great action at a mile a minute. I really enjoyed the book and want to start the series at the beginning. I think you'll be captivated as I was.

Two stories in one
I really like this book. I love how the stories and characters worked so well together. Suspenseful to the end.

Good for Sherlock, not so good for Savich
The Sherlock side of the book was great, well thought out, flashy, lots of twists and turns, good read, good finish. The woman gets her man!! But Savich's case was thin, not terribly exciting, and not very believable, and the wrap up at the end was just too neat and tidy and too hurried. In my opinion, would have been much better to have the Strategist case as a standalone including both Sherlock and Savich, and have the witchy story as another book after Ms Coulter took some time to develop it more and flesh it out. It detracted from the main thread of this book.

Good story
This is my first book by this author and I found it to be well written, full of action with a bit of suspense and a really good ending. I definitely will be reading more from her.

Take Two Stories and Call Me in the Morning with One Book
If you are a fan of this series the book will not disappoint. But there a couple of oddities that kept the flow from moving along smoothly. First, there really wasn't much interweaving between the two stories except by the characters. It was almost like two books were combined into one and readers were thrown from one to the other without a lot of segue. Didn't enjoy that much and thought the transitions were awkward. But the other stand-out for me is two-fold. First, how is it that the character, Sean is only 5-years-old in this latest book? Is time standing still? Also, the very last sentence in the story is uttered by Sean and no five-year-old in the universe would ever speak that way. They just don't. It isn't even adorably magical - it's not even good fiction. But hey, it won't stop me from buying the next book, but it does give me pause.

Could not put it down!
This book had my interest from the beginning and kept my interest until the very end. I literally could not put my Kindle down. A nice read without offensive language, graphic violence or sex. I love Sherlock and Savich and their relationship. I also like that several characters have special gifts that aid them in apprehending criminals. There were plenty of plot twists and surprises. The plot was unique and creative. Thank you, Catherine Coulter for writing books that have brought me many hours of entertainment and escape from health issues and family issues!
